does anyone know if FMS has lost cars and fans due to hammerdown and DMS teaming up together? i liked it better when dublin and FMS worked together.Hadn't had the chance to go to FMS this season except like the 3rd race of the season.

I'm sure it hasn't helped. We didn't run FMS last year so I don't have a reference to go off of. I know many of the cars that were at FMS early in the year now go to HDS due to the bonus money HDS and Dublin have put up.

There's still a good show at FMS on a weekly basis though.

yea but thats not racing when your on the gas 15% of the track at HDS its a go kart track it needs to stay that way

Kid....

I've seen some good racing at Hammerdown in all the classes. I think the track tests the driver's ability a little more which makes it more exciting. I think Hammerdown is doing fine this season......especially when it comes to giving back to the fans.

true about giving back to the fans if the track was bout the size of clarys then it would be a good track

I haven't raced at HDS since it was just a micro sprint track. But i can tell you are definetly not racing the other drivers you are racing the track. I like FMS cause you can get some momentum going. I might like HDS I don't know never been there in a car but seems like you really don't have much time to react to accidents or anything and i can't afford to tear anything up.

The faster you go the more you tear up. The slower you go the easier it is to stop if something happens in front of you. Plus the track is wide enough to move out of the way if something does happen. Every time I have left HDS I have left with my car in one piece.

yeh but the smaller the track ther better the chance of the domino effect i hit the brake and the rest of the people behind me have to slow up to and with the track that small it wouldn't take many cars to block the whole track.

I havn't seen the domino effect at HDS but racing is racing and I guess it can happen anywhere. I like all three tracks but have to say HDS has been good to me.

I've never been, tried to get their a couple of times as a spectator.

Right now we're just trying to get one track figured out. From a pure track perspective, I like Dublin.

Just hard to get there on a Friday night.......

hds is a little more money for the drivers and they dont try to break you at the gate fms is getting a little out of hand with the gates for no more cars than they have and no supers eithier dublin and hammer down have it going on

I have to be nosey and ask how much cheaper is it to get into HDS versus FMS?

Is it fairly significant?

May change our plans somewhat......

I think the pits are 20 like gb said, least it was the last time we were there.

If a driver wants excitement, he needs to try HDS at least once.

also if you are only on the gas 15% of the time expect to be lap D in about 2 laps and thats' a fact right there !!
