I spoke with Chuck and he said it removed them from the schedule out of anger because of the fact that there wasn't any more than 4 showing up here and there! He did say to wait until Monday and he will have them back on the schedule but I'm not sure as to what capacity. I recommended every other week so it gives the guys time to fix and get them back to the track! The class is depleted because of a few broke down rides but I know for a fact that they are working on them and should be ready either this week or next to bring them back out!
Don't give up yet... Chuck is working on something to make it better for all of us! I asked about the points bing removed too and he didn't really give a definitve answer to that one but I think there is still a copy of it kept as a back up!

Larry,
It's Stephanie.
I'm still wondering about the same thing. When I was up there that one time with my car, there sure looked like plenty of cars out there. Now, I have heard that they might be running them once a month or something like that. I honestly think that they should bring them back, because some drivers that run U-Cars, can't race on Saturdays because they have to work, and their only day off is Friday, so that's why they went to Dublin. There were some clean racing there, and I really enjoyed racing there.
If they do bring them back, and theres like only 4-7 cars. Then they should cut the purse instead of cutting the class out completley. Pay $150 like Fayetteville does. I Only run Fayetteville & Hammerdown now, because Dublin only runs Young Guns. I Can't afford to run Young Guns at Dublin, because they just run for a trophy, for the top 3, and it takes gas & money to run a car.
But like i said before, if they do this once a month deal, i will sure bring my car.
Good luck Larry to where you race. Hey, you never know, i might come back to Hammerdown soon. Dad's just running different tracks for various money. Easy winning he says!
We are going to Modoc on Sat. (which in S.C) and they are having this Summer Shoot OUt Thing and They have this extreme 4 class, which is all front wheel drive. Not sure if V6 or supercharged is allowed but i think their paying $250 && last time i was there with my sunfire it was a easy win for me. :)

Hey stephanie ive wondered where you been.dublin had cut our purse in half but the other week we had 4 cars show up and 2 of them broke before the main leaving only 2 cars to race so we were offered $50 to win and $25 for second so we didnt run and were then pulled from the schedule.Just the week before we had 5 cars and were called out in the drivers meeting and told come on guys where all the u-cars the same nite there was only 6 late models i see their still running but what can you do.I would like to see dublin let us run but if not i take my championship jacket and continue to run hammerdown.I am gonna be in fayetteville this sat jus to check them out.Good luck to you and get yourself back down this way.

Think About This--- The Night The #11 & #57 Loaded Up Before The Race Started Due To Problems, The Track Still Got To Keep The Fees For Entering The Pits And The Race, Instead Of Thanks For The Money--we Got Taken Off The Schedule.

i dont think they should have taken off the schedule, if they do have 2-4 cars on a given night, just pro-rate the purse, whatever is taken in pay that out, and the cars will come back. it just takes some time to fix them, and it isn't cheap. but fayetteville pays $250.00 to win stephanie in ucar. like to see dublin bring back u-car though, fayetteville had 12 cars sat, so i dont see the class falling off... eddie
