Possibly to pay out more throughout the field due to traveling costs.

Smith, James at County Line was graciuos enough to give us a shot. I am actually putting some of the sanction fee money back into the purse to help with gas expenses, that is why it is $1500 to win but $200 to start. Anything helps these days!
Brannon should be tough. I know there are some very good drivers at County Line too that will be hard to beat. Hopefully Gerald Davis will get his engine fixed in time. He will definitley be a force. Shoot, mixing our guys with CLR guys, this could be a race where nobody needs a seat!!!!

Reason they weren't mentioned was because they may not be members of the S.M.A.R.T. series. Yes. The locals did show us how to race this track. But remember we have NEVER raced there before.

Thats right. We did have the home track advantage but there was some strong cars with the series. Man, that yellow 11 has a strong motor but i think we had him covered on handling. We were very glad to see everyone that came to support the SMART series. I hope to see the series back this year.

I wanted to thank everyone involved in bringing S.M.A.R.T to County Line. James Upchurch and his staff are first class and the racing was as strong and competitive as I have seen in a while no matter where we go. County Line is a TOUGH track. Even our veterans said it is one of, if not the toughest track they have ever been on. The crowd was the best and most enthusiastic I have ever been witness to! Thank You!

Thank you to the local drivers that participated with us. I think we proved by far that our rules are competitive enough that NO ONE is at a disadvantage. That is something that can only be shown to the ones that felt they couldn't compete with us. We have a GREAT group of guys that compete on the S.M.A.R.T series and it continues to improve. Hopefully we have gained the respect of the competitors and fans at County Line Raceway. It was nice to meet alot of you and put faces to names. It was a long day, but the racing and the people there made it all worthwhile!
We hope you all continue to support us and the series. We are for real, and here to stay!

I hate that I missed the race (actually I hate every race I miss). My wife was out of town at a conference until Saturday (She was supposed to be back around 1). We've had a sick cat (who we know how to take care of), then the other one got sick early last week but then was fine until she had a relapse on Friday. She wasn't good Saturday either and our vet closes at noon on Saturday. I figured Katy would be home close to one and I could take off. But she decided to spend some time with her brother on the way back and never called to tell me. She also had her cell phone off so I couldn't reach her. I didn't know what to do but the cat had gotten down to 5 1bs, 1oz and I don't particularly like coming home to find cats who aren't alive anymore.

Anyway, great win for Britches and team and hopefully another SMART race can get set up down here!
