I believe it's been done one time before, I know Fayetteville used to do it. I think it would be pretty cool to have some of the drivers of yesteryear come out to CLR one night. I know I've seen a few former drivers in the stands a few times like Robby Causby. Names like Heffinger, Pinno, Mullins, Capps, Cooke, and I could go on and on. But I think it would be really cool for something like that to happen.

Bringing up Joe Huss. That dude is a character. I remember one night, he was joking with us about his new sponsor that came through the mail. He said the sponsor had bought him plenty of good parts for his race car. Then he told us that the sponsor had sent him the bill for all those parts, plus interest. Said his sponsor was Mastercard. You had to have been there to hear Joe tell it.

I think it's a terrific idea! It would be fun to see "Moon" Mullins, Ervin Riggsbee, Roger Lucas, Charlie Stephenson, Massengill, Jimmy Holcombe and even Mr. "Boots" Vail .... As said on the Enterprise, "Make it so" ...

Also Donald Joyner, Jimmy Hendricks and Bobby Whitley.

Yep! Jimmy is at the track every Saturday night now. It supplies the engines for our 07 LM and our L2 T&L cars.

:check_flag2: yep those were the good ole days!!! when racing was racing Poor Boy Style---but man did we all have fun back then!! John Whitley and the gang were the rough crowd to beat on the track but they would help you out with anything you needed. Today some of the guys might give you a hand shake if your'e lucky. But then again some of us are still running poor man's stuff trying to stay up with the rich man's world. But that's the life of racing. You gotta love it or leave it behind????

Glenn Stocks

We need to find a Monte Carlo somewhere and get Glenn out of the stands and back in a car.
