G.R. Smith and his Premier Motorsports team have announced today, May 30, that they are joining forces with the D&H Motorsports team for the remainder of the 2008 racing season! The two Dirt Late Model teams will pool their resources together and G.R. will have multiple Rocket / Clements racecars at his disposal. The newly-formed super team will debut on Saturday night, June 7 at the 311 Speedway in Madison, North Carolina. G.R. will enter a Super Late Model in a pair of $2,500 to win Twin 25s, as well as a Crate Late Model in a regular weekly show at 311.
The D&H Motorsports team, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, has recently provided the equipment for driver Steve Blackburn (#54). G.R. would like to thank co-owners Don and Herbert Way for this great opportunity. More details concerning the partnership will be made available in an official press release next week!
