Great llm race from the top 4 ...awesome to watch...wilsons self caused spin took out three very good cars last night in the owm, his own-coxe5-and thompson7--it looked like coxe5 car was completely bent and unsalvageable(hope not for his teams sake),the thompson car took major damage but can be fixed, and the 12 car looked tore up pretty good( for everyones sake in the owm class,lets hope the 12 gets fixed what keeps causing him to spin out or wreck almost every week and take out so much good equipment)

B12 didn't spin their self out I think it was some of the others out there but thats just my opinion.The 12 car hasn't been wrecking or spinning out every week FYI and the driver wasn't the cause of the wreck in the owm class on friday night.The reason for him spinning out or wrecking some of the times has been for a few of the drivers wrecking him.I'm not blaming it on the other drivers for all of the times but some of the times it has been the others faught. what does it have to do with everyones sake of who is in the owm class?

How was it an unassisted spin it ain't like he was the only one to wreck/spin out. There were 3 cars involved and I'm pretty sure one of those cars was yours that went home wrecked friday night. Yes FYI he did race in another class a few years back. He is kinda new to the owm cars he just needs to race every friday and get used to the car and he will do fine.He isn't causin any damage no more than any of the others out there. It ain't like he takes cars out every friday night and he don't wreck peoples cars and put them out for the rest of the race. I understand that its racin and all and that race cars will be wreckin/spinnin out but some of the drivin is just uncalled for. I'm not just talkin about the owm class I'm talkin about all of the classes. Their not reparing their cars because of 12. Some of the people could be wrecking themselves and just blame it on someone else. JMO.

The car isn't that rough.Compare to some of the other race cars out there.Whats the use to keep puttin parts on if there not required to be new because its just going to get messed up. IT'S A RACE CAR FOR CRYIN OUT LOUD!!!!!!!! JMO.

racingirl---Your right !!! there were 3 cars in the wreck and guess who was in the front.The 12 driven by billy wilson.when the car in front spins (unassisted,coxe never touched him)and collects cars behind him,guess whos fault it is.THE ONE WHO SPINS. Got no personal beef with you or billy ,all Im saying is.why would you drive so out of control if you are not sure of how the car will handle?The 12(old e1 from last year)is a very nice car and Im sure when you got it appeared to be in pristine shape.Friday night is not our guys only run in w/ billy this year on the track---Its only the first time the driver actually said something to him about it.The team I sponsor (last years owm track champion at dms) has struggled w/ qualifying this year on the new 4 link set up,but are loaded w/talent and determination.When they qualify poorly and are back there w/ billy and them they run the risk of getting collected ,but this year has been ridiculous with people either running all over them after a spin in front of them or someone spinning out in front of them driving out of control(12 car friday night) and getting tangled up.I dont think billy is doing it on purpose(would be a terrible mistake),like you said"he just needs more seat time in the owm car ,before he drives it in there like a wild man,its obvious that he needs the seat time in that car,but wrecking everybody in the process aint gonna win him any friends on the track or in the stands and I know the driver that called him out about it was very frustrated in turns one and two,but billys remarks back to him were just as uncalled for and had billy made it to that driver as it appeared he was trying to do....lets just say that it would have been a bad situation. VERY BAD.You cant total one car5coxe,mangle another thompson7 and then get out talkin smack about it in front of your kids waiting at the fence to take your helment and not expect the drivers you wrecked to be pissed.NO OFFENSE,but your guy was 100% at fault for putting three very good cars out of the race,His own#12,#5,and#7.Its done and over with,but not forgotten.Good luck figuring out your car the rest of the year,i hope yall get it figured out and there are no more hard feelings between the drivers/teams .

ps.I doubt many of the owm guys are wrecking themselves and blaming it on someone else.

Easy racin girl....that post about gettin lapped by the 51 was in response to chansens post.That was his quote in my post ,sorry you couldnt tell.As far as the rest,Anybody that has ever competed in anything made mistakes when they were new at it,STUFF HAPPENS,everybody understands that,but when you sit there and completely deny any responsibility for an incident that was 100% your fault is ridiculous.Heck,our guys are working like crazy to get there car ready to race friday night,coxe5 looked totaled from what I saw and yalls car looked pretty tore up and looked pretty severe,the least you could do is admit what happened and not get so fired up when someone points out the obvious that your guy made a pretty bad mistake for it to have been completely unnecessary.Its done and over and aint nothing gonna fix it but money and sweat.Im sure billy knows how to man up a race car or he wouldnt be there and Im sure our driver Said what he said(belive me I cleaned it up for lrc)probably more out of frustration than anger.The point is to learn from whats happened and move on to the next subject, lord knows this ones about wore out.I think yall come from close to where our guys haul from and aint no sense in practical neighbors feuding anyway.

I was just picking, the Shuffields had their hard luck times as well. I just miss the the old days when Jerry was in the 51 racing Craig, Jim and John every weekend at WCS and FMS. So much has changed since then though.

I was NOT at this race and I'm not putting blame on anyone but it doesn't matter how much experience you have at running a car you're still going to spin out every now and then...for example, Saturday night at FMS when the #8 spun out. It messed a lot of guys cars up but he didn't mean it.He's got a ton of experience! Things happen! It's the way life goes.


I'm not trying to be mean when I say this because I don't have anything against anyone but last year when one of the Thompson boys was driving a super street car he spun out in just about every race he ran...how many times was it his fault? Just about everytime...he put blame on one guy in particular more than once. If you're scared of getting in a wreck-stay away from the boy. There's worse ones out there- in every class there are people that you know you shouldn't get close too. If you feel uncomfortable run at the front where he's behind you. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THEM! :1219:

Well, I am no teenager.
No disrespect to the 51 team as they have a good team and a great driver, But if I had the experiece of Jeff, and driven SUPER LATE MODEL for a number of years, and backed down into a OWM, that is as good as the 51, he sould win about every time.

Last week was only my 2nd race in an OWM, this week was my 3rd, and the motor is not running right at all............ Maybe you could not hear that........... But maybe it will ALL get better soon.

I Know Things Change When You Go From An Automatic Transmission To A Manual One & When You Get A New Motor. It's Going To Feel Like Your Running A Whole New Car. To Run At The Front This Year You've Either Got To Have Big Money To Pay Someone To Get An Awesome Motor or Really Know What You're Doing. There's More Competition In The Open Wheel This Year(imo) Then Last Year.

Just thought I'd put my 2cents in on the post...

I was NOT at this race and I'm not putting blame on anyone but it doesn't matter how much experience you have at running a car you're still going to spin out every now and then...for example, Saturday night at FMS when the #8 spun out. It messed a lot of guys cars up but he didn't mean it.He's got a ton of experience! Things happen! It's the way life goes.


I'm not trying to be mean when I say this because I don't have anything against anyone but last year when one of the Thompson boys was driving a super street car he spun out in just about every race he ran...how many times was it his fault? Just about everytime...he put blame on one guy in particular more than once. If you're scared of getting in a wreck-stay away from the boy. There's worse ones out there- in every class there are people that you know you shouldn't get close too. If you feel uncomfortable run at the front where he's behind you. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THEM! :1219:

I Know He Did Not Rant Or Rave On Here But If You Were At A Few Of Them, You Would Know Who He Blamed 2-3 Times Or More For Spinning Him Out and all the time it was actually his fault. This All Happened At The Track Not On Here.








I Know Things Change When You Go From An Automatic Transmission To A Manual One & When You Get A New Motor. It's Going To Feel Like Your Running A Whole New Car. To Run At The Front This Year You've Either Got To Have Big Money To Pay Someone To Get An Awesome Motor or Really Know What You're Doing. There's More Competition In The Open Wheel This Year(imo) Then Last Year.

It may have been his fault every time in the super street,idk,but he didnt get on here or rant and rave about none of it being his fault.Thats the point---If you screw up ADMIT IT AND MOVE ON,FIX THE RACE CAR AND LEARN FROM IT. charlie i know your not a teenager i was referring to racingirl.i could tell the motor was sour whats goin on with it.

Not sure what is goin on with it..............Headed back to the engine builder this week...... I will not be there Friday, the baseball team I coach for one of our boys has a game Friday night............ It works out good, gives us an extra week to fix the rear-end and get the motor looked at....

THIS WAS TO CLEARLY STATE THAT HE DROVE EVERY RACE THAT THE 8 RAN IN--THAT MAY HAVE BEEN 20 RACES-MAY HAVE BEEN 10 RACES BUT HE STILL RAN EVERY RACE THAT THE 8 CAR WAS IN.

The old 8 car is looking good this year,thats about the only accurate statement that youve made so far.Spun out almost every race last year ?I mean really.Now that your being more specific about who you said he was blaming,I understand your confusion a lot better.You may want to get that checked out sometime,I can only recall one incident last year that amounted to anything between the two which ended up gregs father and benjis brother having words after greg and benji got together.What races are you watching?
