LINCOLNTON, N.C. (May 29) - The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set for it's first ever visit to Hartwell Speedway this Saturday Night May 31st for a $4,000 to win main event.
Leading the Carolina 'Bad Boys' into town will be Dennis 'Rambo' Franklin. The Gaffney, SC resident is not only leading the series point's standings but also sit atop the list with three early season victories. A pair of drivers who will be looking for their first 2008 wins are Ricky Weeks and Jeff Smith. This duo have been staples in the win column over the past several seasons and will be looking to close in on Franklin's points lead.
Several drivers including Benji Cole will be looking to add their name to the record books on Saturday night. 'The Coletrane' from nearby Cannon, GA will be a fan favorite, as the popular driver has many starts on the 4/10 mile Georgia oval.
