Good race at Cherokee tonight. 22 SLM's signed in.......GR Smith sets fast time on one qualifying lap. Chupp, Roberts, Madden Rambo
Great racing early between GR, Chupp, Rambo and Madden - all race leaders. Chupp to lead early.....then contact during yellow in turn 1 w/ Sanders while leading...damaged car. Would restart 1st, but Rambo would make 3 wide pass for lead , and lead for several laps...only to retire from damage during race (radiator?). Madden inherits lead and goes on to win.Casey Roberts 2nd. Great run for Ivey in 3rd, and Duvall 4th.
