LINCOLNTON, NC –The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set to make history this Monday Night May 26th at Travelers Rest Speedway with their first ever Monday night event in the nine year history of the series.
The ‘2nd Annual Mountain Man 40’ was originally scheduled for April 26th but inclement weather forced officials to postpone the event until Memorial Day.
“We are very excited about hosting the first Memorial Day race in the history of the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series,” said Travelers Rest Speedway The series has a great following and a storied history and we are thrilled to be a part of it all.”
Leading the Carolina Clash contingent into TR Speedway will be Dennis ‘Rambo’ Franklin. Franklin has already scored three victories on the season and will be looking to extend his points lead on Monday night.
Also on the card for Monday night will be the Fastrak Crate Late Models, Renegade, Stock Four, Stock Eight and Pure Stock. The Fastrak Late Models will pay $1,000 to the winner. Pit gates open at 3:00 PM with the grandstand gates opening at 4:00. Drivers meeting will be at 6:15 with racing at 7:00 PM. For more information visit www.carolinaclash.com or www.trspeedway.net
