Not often seen at dirt tracks across the country, the Goodyear Blimp will be in the air over Lowes Motor Speedway dirt track this Friday May 23rd to support the FASTRAK Racing Series teams and fans.
"Goodyear wants everyone to know we support grass roots racing" said Scott Junod of Goodyear. "Through FASTRAK we have made a long term committment to the dirt tracks and the teams across the United States. This is one way we wanted to show just how committed we truly are. This is the only time I can recall the blimp being at a dirt track. It truly will be something to see".
"I am really excited about this" said Stan Lester of FASTRAK. "In the past people have questioned about Goodyears committment to dirt racing. This will certainly prove how committed they truly are. I can just see the blimp overhead during the night. That will be an awesome sight".
