Will FMS be running mod 4's again in 2006?

They will be running the Mod 4's next year. As it stands now, it will be every other week again unless a big enough class shows up to warrant an every week spot during the season. Not trying to speak for the track but that is what I was told.

I got an email from Ed today and here is what he said.

"Carl,

Thanks for your email. The 4cyl modified rules are remaining the same for 2006. The only thing we changed is that you guys will be running every week in 2006. The rules for the other class should be posted here early next week.

Thanks

Ed & Larry"

So it looks as if they are going to run every week.

It is true the Mod 4`s will be running every week in 2006. We look forward to having a great year of racing.

You need to go to the FMS webpage. There has been some rule changes to mod 4's!!! The main change being the weight to cc's. I would love to see them just adopt clary's rules so we can switch back and forth. Clary's does not race every week so it sure would make it easy!!!!

Right on Thiede, Just makes it easier. We need to get a car count figured, 3 cars a week, I will just leave it at home. we are gonna run, till we sell it!

Maybe Clary's should change theirs to match FMS if they are only going to run every other week.

Fayetteville needs to look at a pound per cc rule, the rules they have for 2006 are like the rules that county line ran, county line no longer runs this class. In 2005 this class picked a few cars, the new rules will hurt your car count. A bigger engine and less weight is not the way to go. A big engine will cost you 8 to 10 thousand dollars. They pay 300 to win. Know one is going to build or buy a car under these rules. One pound per cc and (gng) check a car in this class every other week. Just the facts.
