Been hearing that awhile now :smashfreakB:
This class as all the class's need to increase the car counts. But when one class asks let us run, we have the cars. Well actions speak louder than words.

Why single out the mini stock 4. The pure stock 4 had less cars and the super stock 4 and super street only had 2 more cars. just my 2 cents

If you need to know the #20 is waiting on a motor which should be ready this week, heck it could be ready right now since I haven;t talked to Red Dust in a day or so.
Newcomer was going to be at Clarys Saturday night but had no trailer so Red Dust offered to pull his car to CLR since that is where he was going to watch.

#4 Scott Pearce, #3 Jimmy Pearce, #82 Ricky Dickens, #55 Michael Wells & # 36 car from Potomac all there for first time in SS. Ricky and Michael both had issues and couldn't make the feature. Don't sweat the SS class that will be packed with very competitive cars very shortly. Run downs don't always reflect what is going on behind the pit gate.

Exactly Dan, 10 cars this week was a great pickup, then add in the Morris boys when they come back, Russell Boyd, should be a heck of a class this season.

And no disrespect to #98 Maurice Floyd, he had slipped my mind but was at Clary's this week too.

my motor will be ready this week. i have a few small things to do to it also. i talked with kevin sanford and he said he should be there maybe this week. it started out this way last year too. then next thing you know, we had one of the biggest classes out there. yall calm down. afterall, clarys has only ran 2 races. the cars will come, in all classes. you just have to be patient. everybody that races doesnt have a huge pocketbook. they will get there when they get their cars ready. dont take this the wrong way anybody. im not trying to be smart or anything.

Tracks dont have any Money Trees growing in the pits either............If they can not get more than 5 or 6 cars, it does not pay to run them.......... Just thought we would see more of them sooner than later............
Where has some of the other guys been.......... Brian Thiede, Joey Morgan, Brad Cox, John Van Zant, ............
What about super stocks........ Where is Brian Farrow, "The Nut", "Roller-Over Stephan", Chris Myers, Andy Ross, thought we might even see, Dwayne Harding,
Saw where Hammerdown had 6 Mod 4's............if those 6 come to Clary's and the Kelly's Join, and Trevor brings his, and Brad Thiede shows up, maybe Mark Lee, this class may be a good one to watch...............Lets hope so.............
I know the economy is tuff, but now is the time the racing community needs to support the tracks, or it will be a sad day when there is no where to race...........:topicsign:

This may be a little off topic BUT the sportsman were supossed to be given a chance to show a good car count. I dont think one week was a fair shot at ALL. ALthough i wont be running mine this year reason being i cant afford to run mine plus moving Brad up to ss4 is more than our pocket can stand. I had to choose me run or Brad run. Guess who won? I probably have more fun watching him than driving myself. Just wish you guys would have givin the sportsman guys a fair shake. Mike Cox

The mod 4's at Hammerdown, only 2 of them were Clarys Locals. I think only 1 of the other 4 would make the haul. Doesn't Chris Myers work at the track still? Andy Ross is at CLR, Van Zant is at Clarys in the new PSV8, Brad Cox is in SS4

Mike I think they saw, even at best they would only have 8 at best. These cars are just a thing of the past. There are probably 100 or so "Limited" Late Models withing 150 miles of the track. I think looking at the bigger picture it was the thing to do with the sportsman........ Fayetteville did it three years ago, Dublin 2 years ago, Clary's just a bit slow to jump on the train.
With that being said, we have a leaf spring car for sale if you know anybody that wants one.

it may have been 6 weeks since it was anounced but before that they wasnt gonna run this class so im sure some of the teams did not worry about gettin there cars ready for this yr to run clarys or either they just got rid of there car. now that clarys has said they will run this class im sure there are teams out there that are workin on there cars but it takes time to get a car ready heck some other classes still dont have that many more cars in them when them teams have known all winter that there class would be running this yr and some of them still do not have there car ready...:smashfreakB:
