Seems that most tracks can not make it without the SLM or LLM. Its really hard for CLR to compete with the high purse that Clarys, 311, DMS, & FMS offer. Has the promoter ever considered a limited sportsman or open wheel mod class to fill the void of LM? Right now T&L is County Lines top class...no offense to CLR or its fans, but the T&L division there is not a true T&L division. Most tracks I've been to with T&L, the T&L class is basicaly sportsman cars like Steve Pearson from Clarys or Scott Neighbors at Dublin or Tater Liles at WCS.

myself would much rather see late model;s flying around the track. it hink they should races more next yr than they were this yr.maybe mr. batten will have a good yr.

No way CLR will be able to compete with Clarys, FMS, or DMS. I think a sportsman class would be a good idea for CLR. If the keep T&L as the top class at least reqiure all the guys run after market bodies like Lee Brinson did. That way it won't look like a street stock class.

think what you want. but i believe that me and michael put on one of the best races anywhere around this past year. we raced the whole race for the lead with him getting the best of me.

Finally someones agrees with me about the T&L class at CLR. They need to call that class what it really is...super street. If they want to call a class T&L, get a true T&L class. I still think CLR should try a limited late model or open wheelmod class to fill the void of LM.

Original T&L classes were stock chassis cars and slowly evolved into a sportsman type car.I think a Junior/Limited Latemodel class at CLR would be a great idea.Let them run older latemodel chassis(NO 4-LINKS!!),and the same motor rules as CLR's T&L class.By the way,my last post was only a joke.I am the crewcheif on the 07 & L2 Thunder & Lighting cars at CLR.Clr ran a Junior Latemodel class years ago and it did really well.

If you going to run a junior late model class let 4 bar cars run but make the motor rules right for the class. get used to running a four bar car that way when you move up to slm you already know how to work with a four bar car. That's what a track need to do in this area just like 311 does gives the guys a chance to get used to that type of car before you race a real slm car and then if you want a t&l class make it a stock front clip car there plenty of both to go around.

Everywhere I have been other than CLR the T&L cars are Rockets, GRT, Rayburns, etc. with a stock front stub on them.
