I'm going to use the same car it handled great. But I got a question and need opinions. I want my car to look nice for the car show. And the doors cost 100.00 a piece and i need all 4.So should I just skin over them and would this work.

4. You may use steel or aluminum fabricated front fenders and doors, but they must appear stock and be securely fastened. No other alterations to the body are allowed.

Mike this was off the CLR site straight out of the rule book. If i were you i would take the doors off and skin over the door openings with steel or aluminum your choice. If you have access to a sheet metal brake you can make these look really nice(Better than factory IMO) Or you can do like i did a few times in the past when i raced this class with your brother and call around to some local junk yards. Tell them your situation of your looking for and you may get them for free or at a considerable discount in return for putting their name on the car. I reskinned a whole one year for free and just had to put the Junk yards name on the car. I hope this helps you out.

He Mike if you or anyone needs sheetmetal or need some bends put in doors, fenders ect. I work for a sheet mteal shop & run a press brake. They will not be free but i can get a huge discount on the metal & its light gauge ( 26 gauge & 24 gauge ) it will be a very cheap price.just let me know!

Thanks for the advice. If I'm racing against Wes I think I'll leave the doors on and reskin them and use stock fenders.Wade I will be getting up with you after the new year.
