After a great opening night two weeks ago the "Ring Of Fire" will be back in action this Saturday night for Carolina Crossroads Night.
The first race of the season saw a new promotion team (Raceway Promotions) grab the "Ole Girl" by the reins and give her a magnificent ride.
Done and out at 10:40 after seeing some great racing action :wow3_nbs:
Glad to have DRJ in the house. They helped add excitement to the action packed event.
Saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd, but was overwhelmed with the amount of new fans that were in attendance. Hope you enjoyed the show and will return each and every time the gates are open.
As for the racing action: How about the caution free SLM race. Who ever would have thought you would ever see that on the "Baddest Little Bullring In The Country".
I think we only saw a small glimpse of how action backed the Super Street class is gonna be this year. More on that a little later!!!!!
What a great win for Dan "The Undertaker" Blaylock and Kelly Moore with Dan behind the wheel of the K99. I said last week that being involved with Clary's Speedway has enabled me to take part in some great moments. But interviewing Dan and Kelly after the race tops the list.
Glad to be there when Richard Hyden joined the victory circle at Clary's. Always good to see new faces and also lots of new cars in the pure stock V-8
Gary Thiede is still the man in the Super Stock 4's. Good run though for Wayne Matthews. Believe Gary is gonna have a little more heat this year.
Brian Medlin picked up were he left off last year, running up front. Mini Stock drivers you asked to run every week, RWP responded, so now its up to you lets get those cars ready to go and bring em on out.
Folks there's a little recap of opening night. What more could you possibly need to encourage you to come out this Saturday Night? You need more? Oh OK how about this:
This Saturday Night is Carolina Crossroads Night. RWP was scheduled to give away tickets Saturday night. Well guess what?
We have increased the number of Carolina Crossroads Outdoor Amphitheatre vouchers for the May10th race from 50 to 200. 3rd Cove will give away 50 vouchers between sets. We will give away 50 in pairs of 2 as door prizes, and 100 through the 50/50 raffle.
Still asking for more. Whats 3rd Cove? They are a very talented local band that will be preforming in the pits after the racing action Saturday night. All fans from both sides are invited to stay and enjoy this extra entertainment.
Still need more? OK
Been doing a little snooping this week. Look for the action in the Super Street to be off the chain this week. Expected to make their return to action this Saturday night are Greg Munn and Scott Pearce. Also hearing their is a chance there may be another Pearce in action this week and some more of the Littleton Mafia are working hard on getting their rides right.
You need more? Well I'm not gonna give away the whole show on a Wednesday night. You are gonna have to make your way out and see for yourself what all the buzz is about.
Remember drivers meeting at 5:30 with racing to follow soon there after.
I'M GONNA BE THERE ARE YOU????????????????
Oh you thought I forgot about the SLM's??????????? :blue21: Nope gonna have to tune in later this week or make your way out Saturday night to see if some of the :rumor: I keep hearing are true!!!!!!!!!
