With watching many years of Sportsman/Street Stock/Super Street racing action at Friendship, an exodus will happen of the car count in that class. When you have cars that weight 850-900lbs more than late model cars and would have started 5th in the FASTRAK CLM race last night, simply there is nothing stock about those cars.

Either your going to end up with like 4-5 cars in that class right now or end up with 2 classes. Simple as that. People are not gonna keep running a losing battle. I remember watching the Mudslingers run at FMS under Tony Hicks' Management. A class that was purely a stock car with a cage in it and street tires. $100 payout to win and that class drew anywhere from 20-30 cars some nights. However, a few people who are running Super Street now entered that realm of racing and couldn't compete with some of the other drivers there and started stepping out stock line.

That class evolved to Pure Stock and car counts went down to less than 10, thus entering racing tires and some less than stock motors. This is nothing but previous history of stock classes at FMS, but dont wonder why the car count decreases or fans see a split division.
