I am not gonna comment on this post, I copied it from another racing board and could not believe what I read.

First I dont know for sure, but I dont belive that RWP was selling beer by the glass bottle. I may be wrong, but dont think so.

I sure saw a lot more good, than just victory lane!

What race track would first sale beer in the pits but sale glass bottles period at a race track???? Isn't the first rule at 99.9% of tracks NO GLASS! After my visit to Clarys last night(my home track) I will NOT be back. To many promises that didn't happen. They promised since no collers would be allowed we would see cheaper prices at the concession.....well everything I saw was the same price. Several track staff acted rude to people, 25 lap SLM on a bull ring last only 8 minutes. Car count was terrible, 13 SLM, 6 or 7 in all the other classes. The new victory lane was about the only good thing I saw last night

Ok so I lied, I have to ask one question............Please tell me who was the track staff and how were they rude and who they were rude too...... and you said several, so I expect to see a list of 3 or more track staff, and you said people, so that would mean someone other than yourself.

Also what were the promises that were not fulfilled? (I did not eat at the track, so I dont know about the concession stand prices.)

I have know John for about 15 years, sometimes he is a very hard person to defend, but after reading this post on 4m.net, I will have to say John is justified in his feelings and actions.

It appears that Redclay is out to tarnish the reputation of Clary's Speedway.

I had promised myself that I was going to sit back and take a few days off of LRC so no trash talk would get out of hand on this board. Well guess what? I'm going to take this time to defend myself. What i say on other boards is my opinion, what did you gain by bringing it to this board Charlie? I posted a simple comment here on LRC about the SLM laps and everything was fine...Until John wanted to start a bitchfest. Charlie i left my pen and notebook at home last night so i didn't walk up to anyone and ask thier names so i could turn them in for being rude. The other thread would not have gotten out of hand and this thread wouldn't have started if John wouldn't have wanted to act like a know it all again and run his mouth. I told John in a pm that I wasn't complaining but if he wanted it here it comes. I am getting about tired of being the only person on this site that can't speak his mind or opinion without other members turning it into a freaking circus.

You won't find a bigger dirt fan on the board than me...hell I missed my own B-day party a few years back because it was on race night.

When it was announce that Clarys was going to open this season I was just about doing backflips in my living room I was so happy! So to say I'm trying to tarnish Clarys...Ummm Whatever, I'm danged if i do, dang if i don't around here. So with that said "I don't care what everyone thinks, Now what do you think about that?"

The bottles of beer sold in the drinking section were aluminum. They were $5.00 each, but they had many choices from $4.00 to $6.00. It was your choice to buy or not to buy. I heard only one negative comment and that was about the 4 wheel driving in so many times to get food to take to the pits, They did not think it was safe with all the kids playing in the drinking section.

The only question I have then is WHY? Why go to another board and start a thread like that. Honestly if you are as big a dirt fan as you say you are, and as big of Clary's fan as you say you are, do you think that is gonna help better dirt racing, or Clary's.

We have never had a problem before, I know that you read some stuff that I have said, but you know just like I do, it was written because you continue to say/post things before you really think.

My last comment I hope on this subject. Maybe the post on the SLM wasn't the worse thing ever written. But considering the source it lit the fuse. Dude there were about 12 people standing around Saturday about 11pm over a few cold ones (and all were not track staff or buddies) just a group of people. They were taking bets how soon and just what negative trash redclay would have on the computer. Me like a dumb ass said naw there wont be anything, there was nothing here tonight to bitch about. Maybe some things that need some tinkering, but how anybody in their right mind could have left outta there angry is beyond me. We will get back to the right mind here shortly.

By posting on 4m do you think no one here reads that board? Do you think potential fans and cars dont read it? See you have lied, you have said you didn't bitch and complain, you just asked a question or statement and I blew it up. Wrong!!! Its all about consider the source. I have never told anyone they shouldn't voice their opinion on here or anywhere and the best way is in public. You had every opportunity Saturday night to meet the new promoters, even at their cost. But for some reason you chose not to. That's beyond me as well since you care so much. Then why not step up introduce yourself and see if your opinions could help change. At least be accountable for your post. people can compare how I post to yours and others, well there's one thing for sure. Its not like everyone doesn't know who I'm or how to get in touch with me.

Now lets get to the right mind issue. Lets give everyone a little inside history lesson on something they may not be to familiar with.

Clary's Speedway had its on forum before joining LRC. It was gonna stay that way. Well there were 6 people on there who always started talking crap either about people or the track. I mean big time stuff. At the time the folks running the forum didn't have the software or knowledge which ever to eliminate a lot of it. Finally the Clary's got tired of it and through talks between Marcia and Dewayne (AKA RJ) Clary's switched over and joined up with LRC. As far as message boards it may have been the best day ever for both.

And who do we have to think for this? That's right MR REDCLAY REBEL himself. Yep the guy had about 5 names on that board that he used to post under and not only different names, but he also had conversations with himself. Not only talked to himself, but talked to himself about how bad things were, how bad certain drivers were and also how bad people at the track were. Some Die Hard Clary's supporter HUH.

So folks maybe this will help you see this has been going on a long long time. Its not a one time issue. Also with things posted in the past it is personal. There is a lot more involved than just track conditions or glass bottles or what not.

BTW there was no glass sold. They were aluminum, the same one's sold at tracks all over the country.

clary's has been our home track for several years and we don't see it any other way! we have met some great frends along the way. so what everything don't go perfect every nite.....does it ever with the racecar or racing?? i think sat nite went great, the raceceivers were great for safety on the track and to save time, the track was the best i have ever seen it, every class...the racing was good, and we were finished by 10:30. What more can you ask for???? All we lacked was a better handling car........ if we ever hook it up look out!! congrats Clary's and Jonathan for a great place to race!!!!!

OK, I have stayed out of this and for those of you who know me you know that has not been easy for me to do......

I can totally understand where John is coming from because I feel backed into that corner as well....I go above and beyond to be nice, to "forgive and forget", and to let the "past lie in peace"......but I honestly do not get WHY you would go to 4m and slam the living hell out of the track when you claim to love it so much.....So what the SLM's ran 25 laps....big deal it was a good race......there were NO glass containers of beer sold at Clary's....If someone was so rude to you that you felt the need to say it publically why in the hell didn't you do something about it Saturday night...

When you think you are acting in the interest of the fans and drivers you really are not......How is it in the interest of the fans and drivers to slam the track at every turn, and possibly drive teams or fans off....I don't get it.....I answered the phone at the track for much of the day Saturday and had lots of calls about coolers and "readmission policy" and after I expalined how it works to those folks they all said thank you and we will see you tonight......see all it takes is personal comunication to work things out not a bunch of **** talking on a message board......

I have defended you in the past and said that you did not mean harm to Clary's, that you just maybe didn't realize how your posts come off when you made them, I even sent you a pm last night explianing a few things and asking you to let me know when you have an issue( I know you and RWP did not get off to the best of starts so I thought I could be your "go between") then you go and attempt to stir a pile of pure BS on 4m......again WHY?

All I have ever wanted for Clary's Speedway is for it to be a place where everyone go and have a good time enjoying a sport that I personally love dearly and that you claim to also....I have been to several races and tracks that were not the best racing or even pretty much had the worst racing I had ever seen but I have never publically slammed any track for anything like that because every track has good and bad nights and maybe I was there on a bad one and because this sport means so much to me......As far as track policies go I have never complained about that because it's their coice how they run their track......

I honestly feel all of this back and forth BS is totaly uncalled for......If you don't like something or something just totaly displeases you that much then go somewhere else and see if they can do a better job to suit your needs......Chuckie said it all in his post and for just once I wish every one could be thankful for what we have and not complain about what we don't......
