I can't really tell by the photos, but will the cars still enter the track in front of the granstands. That was always one of the coolest things about Lowes. If you didn't go to the pits you could still go get a photo while the cars waited to go out.

That's pretty effed up right there b/c it looks as if they are taking the pit area away from the dirt track(from the aerial shot anyway). I love my drag racing too, but don't take the nice pit area away from the dirt guys to make room for the drag strip. I thought that drag strip was supposed to be behind the big track anyway.

Drags and dirt will not run at the same time,but before you start complaining about the pits, remember, the drag pits are most always are all blacktop and the drags boys and the other racers will more then likely share all the pits, so all in all the dirt boys come out ahead.

I like the way they park on the back stretch. I imagine the teams that get up there like it too. Man, I sure am looking forward to Friday. :smile:

I do too. My wife had never been to a big dirt late model race until the first Colossal, and I just about think she was more impressed with the rigs than some of the cars. LOL!

where will all the haulers park now? i dont see how they can park close to 100 haulers on the back stretch and turn 1-2 plus they will be having crashcars so that is even more trailers to park somewhere...i would say atleast 120 haulers and traliers to park somewhere around that place???
