I wanted to let my clients know that a hard drive has went bad on the server where most of my sites are hosted. Here is what was sent to me from the data center in Dallas.
After extensive tests the data center staff has concluded that the primary hard drive on the server is bad.
We have submitted a reload request and asked to have it expedited.
What they will do is mount our current primary drive as a secondary drive and we will attempt to migrate the data from the old drive to the new drive.
With hard drives it isn't really a question of "if" but "when" they will sometime fail. The sad part in this instance is that this server was fairly new.
The current sites are affected by this:
http://dpwebdesigns.com/
http://www.clarysspeedway.com/
http://www.countylineracewaync.com/
http://www.dublinspeedway.com/
http://www.steveblackburn54.com/
http://www.trackweather.net/
http://signmastergraphix.com/
http://rocksidetire.com/
http://ronnieboykin36.com
http://www.redclayracing.com/
http://midcoastalmotorsports.com/
http://www.buddyislesjr11.com/
All data should be able to be recovered if not I have up to date back up's of all the sites, with the exception of the database driven sites. They are backed up weekly and worse case will only loose a weeks worth of data.
The ones driven by a database are.
http://www.clarysspeedway.com/
http://ronnieboykin36.com

I' apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you or your business, I will do everything I possibly can to make sure the sites get back up ASAP!!
