i was considering going over there tonite to watch the supers but now after seeing that nope done with it friendship even schedule around 311 bigger shows so the cars wouldn't be split between the tracks then they do this i know it's a business but i dont see how it's going to help 311 having a higher purse race every time some other track does and not get the amount of cars they would normally get for that kind of money race well 311 got the last of my money 2 weeks ago i guess they will do that every time friendship has bigger race oh well i'll be at friendship saturday nights

Yeah, I was up at 311 last night and was very mad when they announced that! Antioch is having a 2,000 to win that night too! So everyone is trying to keep Friendship from being sucessful but it will happen! I just wished that Phill Hall would open his eyes and ears and realize that he will not get any cooperation from any other track other than RTR! Fred Brown at Wythe is not to be trusted either!!!

i think antioch had that race planned for a while unlike 311 hopefully there will be enough crates to go around for the fans i'd like to see the late models have some where to race weekly myself RTR RUNS THEM ON FRIDAYS i dont know of anyone running them on saturdays hope they dont die out completely

I think fred would be the very last track to get on board
with a purse war, I hate to see what 311 is trying to do
with the big purse. it's wrong.. look where they were 8 mos ago
if they didn't get on the ball with the track and the purse
this woul'd been the finale 1/2 season for 311. I say 1/2
for a reason. alot of things has changed at 311 in the
last 3 weeks, take note, someone else is calling the shots
I don't know who or why, but when I went to the 1st race
I knew something was very different. I guess we'll all find
out one day..I hope both are sucessful and do get along..
Alot of racers were loyal to 311 thrugh the rough times
and I do mean rough, I think loyalty to Elkin begins with
the dirt being put down. I do wish they'ed run rtr rules
all the way every week open spec tires, open mtrs 2450#
steel head and n head ford 2300# and limited engines 2150#
that way I could run rtr fris and elkin sats and not have to
buy a mexican crate mtr...... anyboby else with me.....?
lets all call phil this week let him know how many steel heads
are out here.......

im with you jojo..All i got is a steelhead....was looking foward to running there and rtr on regular basis but looks like rtr is where ill have to go..i really hope they change it..if the techman agrees maybe he can make it happen?

i just hope they can make a young guns class im plannin on carryn my boy there the first race wheher or not they do but was crap sat nite he got caught up in some crap been going on since last yr between 2 cars and got his car messed up on the first lap

I went to 311 sat night and someone in the stands put 300 to the crates so now its like 2,800 to win. WOW looks like a compentation going on here dont yall think? They only did that because they knew that it was friendship first open for the season and they dont want nobody going up there april 26th. so bobby wants everyone to come to 311 april 26th

The only reason things are changing at 311 is that they know whats coming.Ive never been to 311, nor do I want to go, especially after the fiasco the Friddle pulled, though he is not asscociated with the track anymore. Yes, it was a business move, and Its a business move now by Bobby Johns and who ever else is financing 311. Antioch seems not to be in a panic, and Wythe cant never tell about them, they have their own way of doing things up there.
The main thing is for all of us that wanted dirt back on Friendship, we have it now. In 2 weeks we will be able to go back "home". I agree with some others, I think a steel head class would be a good idea. They are probably looking at getting started then changing some stuff later on. If the crates are top class, its still dirt racing at Friendship, better than the choice alot of us dirt fans have had in the last 6 yrs.
Phil Hall said he would work around 311 schedule, and then 311 turns around and pulls the BS. Well I hope they remember because what comes around goes around.

i'll be at friendship every week watching what ever they run but the steel head late models sounds good to me

yeah i saw where 311 is having the big race same night as opening night but i am going to be at Friendship - i have never seen dirt on it and i am looking forward to it I have heard alot of great stories from "the good ole' days"

hey doc, clr runs steel head motors if i'm not mistaken. probaly a good 3 hour ride for u, if that.

That would be great. i know the steel heads run at rtr. where else do they run at? i wish they would come bak to 311 that would be awesum but that want never happy down there. I have never been to friendship so im looking forward going there to watch a good race and i know they probably be better then 311. Yea 311 did pull bs b/c they knew they would get swept away with friendship being dirt once again.
