Fred Peoples does build the best chassis, and motors around. It takes 50k to do what my dad does with 8k. I have won 9 races this year with his car. Understand, he has built a FULL tube car with a fully adjustable 4-link, and built the entire motor, by himself. How many people can say they do that? The car is for sale motor and all for $7.000, and it is well worth it. I wish I could come down to S.C. to show you but, we are planing to win in V-8 next year!!!

Trevor, as the saying goes "In order to be the best you have to beat the best". When drivers like Greg Williams, L. Denton , Ronnie Boykin, or even my dad (when he drove for the chief )raced in our class I was easily a 5th or 6th place car. You do not even compare to them. You cannot even outrun me on a weekly basis. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Sure If we had all the money other people put in there cars we would be impossiable to beet. we are letting are car go for $7000, I know people put that much in motors alone, and we got 9 wins? That and other people need to learn to drive. We are not on pavement. People locking up the brakes when they get to a turn on dirt is wrong. If people go ahead and set there car in the turn, carry they speed with them, they would be a lot faster.
But that goes back to people not learning how to set there car up i guess. But the funny thing is, ALL of our motor work and chasiss work is done inhouse. Who else does that. But i am not trying to make enemys with anyone. And I had tons of fun running with Mr. Pinno and Overby and everybody else. I promise you if I had the Motors that other people had in there cars, we would be unstopable. Quick question, who else is running a Ford Valve cover on a winning Mod 4?

Greg Williams hands down is the man at building a four cylinder engine. The man's engines are freakin' awesome.

Sounds like a cool dude. where has his engines ran at?

His name is Greg Williams. He drive the #03 DLM owned by Jerry "George" Dickerson. He builds engines for himself(of course), Corbitt Motorsports(L2&07T&L,07LM),Jason Horne(#8 ss4),Robert Clay(Mod 4),Tom Balance(#03 Mod 4),Ronnie Boykin(#36 DLM),Dustin Mitchell(#D8 ss4),Jesse Thorne(#46 Mod 4),Jimmy Gill (#??) stock 4 at Southern National Speedway, etc(I can't remember all of them!!).Alot of wins and championships as an engine builder and a lot of wins and championships as a driver.Hell of a nice guy once you get to know him.He will help anybody that wants him to.His engines ran at CLR,Clary's,WCS,Fayetteville,Dublin,Etc. last season.

Thats so funny, My cuz is Dennis Corbitt, runs a grading business, and he knows you guys. My question is, those 4cylinders have aluminum heads? If so there are illegal at most tracks unless there are mods, and the fastest mods I know are Pinno, Theide, Shampie, and me. But watch out next year, Mr Pinno and Rusty Kelly are gonna be the ones to stop. I have retired and gonna run v-8

Greg can build them all. He built Modified four engines for himself, Lewis Denton, and Ronnie Boykin when CLR and WCS ran tube chassised four cylinders. Hella awesome horsepower. His stock four engines are just as good. Just ask Jason Horne and Dustin Mitchell. And he aint shabby on a V8 engine either. Greg Willaims knows horsepower.

Greg's 4 cylinder cars all have steel heads.Justin and Brad are great racers, but greg outran them quit a few times. The car Rusty kelly has was first build for and driven by Greg Williams. He dominated every race he ran with that car. When Greg moved to latemodel, they sold both Mod 4 cars to Chris Marshall who sold it to Rusty.

Thats sounds right. See those dudes are running Big size Esslinger heads, 2500 strokers, stuff like that. If you guys are running a steal head in a steal body car then it is a superstock. How come you guys do not run tube cars? I am really trying to sell mine, and its a four link with birdcages, pan-hard bar, with a cushion pull bar. Its also made to wear you have to put weight in front of the fire wall, its ballanced so well it should not make a difference (incase you have to run that rule). If you know anybody wanting it let me know $7.000 turn key. The motor is a 2340 d-port esslinger head, long rods, 620 lift cam rollor, all that, the gages and all of 7 grand. where did you say you guys run at? Its been fun talking with ya'll

No doubt about it. I have to agree with MissOrange04 100%. If you want a very competitive motor that will last, gotta get a Head Shed motor. Bought a used one a couple of years ago, won over 25 races with it and still using it for a back up motor.

But if your looking for speed and don't mind forking out some money, you have to go with Clements...we bought a head from them last fall and that thing is awesome.
