I think last night was pretty awesome. 37 SLM at a track I can go to thats not 3 hours away. Loved being there, just wish it would have been a little warmer. But on the down side I must ask...was the entry list a real entry list or a wish list?
Roy Deese, Les Hare, Chuck Finch, Damon Kotke, Mason Price, Matt Hubbard, Chri Boggs, Greg Williams, Anthony Rushing, Kerry King all were no shows and had pre entered.
I saw where Deese didn't even know he was pre-entered in the event.
So where did all these names comes from?

Anyway, besides that I have no questions, except...Can you imagine last night if the Blue/Gray 100 hadn't been this weekend? My gosh there would have been 50 SLM there for sure.

SAW A FAMILY COMPLAINING FOR HAVING TO PAY $80.00 FOR THERE 2 KIDS IN THE PITS,,KIDS WERE ABOUT 5 AND 9. $160.00 FOR THAT FAMILY ,SAD

If you thought last night was a dust bowl or the worse you have ever seen you must not get out much. As far the pit price thats why me and my 11yr old stay on the grandstand side. But I dont go over and try to force or cry my way in. I mean its posted as plain as day. All these complants seem pretty simple o solve, Make a choice GO or GO home simple.

As far as the drivers list goes, some people on here used the term pre entered. I belive marcia said confirmed? Mason price along with chris boggs were at practice friday night something must have happen. I did see boggs loading up early. Roy Deese maybe dint know or get the word in time that the finchs wanted him to drive for them this weekend. Kotke pulled out wed i belive just got his car repaired said wasnt gonna race it. The info I have is it is for sale. This is not the first time that les hare name has been on a drivers list and he has not shown, Just what I have heard he has been tring to put something togetheer for months. Anthony rushing's car own had a family committment come up in new jersy. Greg williams who knows. But the real point is were any of these drivers missed. Ok maybe one that could have made the show in rushing. So instead of talking about who wasnt there, how bout WHO was there.

if you can read,i have been going to races 45 years,, if you don't think that late model race was dusty and impossible to see,, you really must be paid well to say what you are told to say,,,,,,,,,,

I have been going to races all my life (32 years) and last night the track was in great shap, just needed water. We sat on the very top row and didn't get hit with any dust, just couldn't see turn 4. I have been to many tracks where it was so dusty it felt like someone throwing sand in my face. I think we all should thank Monk, Marcia, & Jc for the job they did. Not alot of tracks in NC that would pay $10,000 out of thier own pockets.

Track was dusty....BUT I have been to alot worse tracks with less car counts.

I want to thank JC, Monk, and Marcia plus all the staff that made this year happen. I had a great time this year. I did'nt care what the conditions were as long as I got to see a race. I am looking forward to next year all ready. Hopefully we will see some bigger and better things in 06. Any way a big THANK YOU to Clarys speedway, see ya next year.

I will agree that when you are sitting on the pit side you will get a dirt bath. Last night was my 1st time sitting in the grandstands watching the races and was a much better experience than sitting in the pits. I like the pits because you get to meet the drivers and buy their stuff, but IMO The grandstands is the place to watch them from. I was about 3/4 up and had no problem with dust at all. AS far as the PIT prices go the event info CLEARLY says "ALL" I'm not sure if there is a cut off for ages or not in the pits but the event info said ALL. When i see ALL i take it to mean ALL.. Now I will say that I myself could not afford to pay $160.00 to get my whole family in and probably would not even consider paying $40.00 for my 5yr old. I would have went straight to the Grandstands. But hey that's me, everyone has an opinion. Don't matter how hard you try, don't matter what you change, you will not please everyone, it can not be done.

the flying 11 ss team also thank monk-j c- marica and all the staff for a great night of racing and a place to race. this season has been one of the best.... who would think that clarys would pay 10,000 to win in slm and all some people want to do is complain. GREAT JOB CLALYS. i saw car and people that i never seem before and made some great friends from far away places. can wait for next year.

Tyrone, glad we're not the only ones that saw, don't forget..42 not only wrecked the cars tring to pass but the ones he was trying to pass... didn't show much class for a "championship winner". Or maybe thats how he got the championship??????

I had a blast this weekend with all the crowd. I especially want to thank Marcia for her warm hospitality and Lucky13 for the live entertainment. Dust was pretty rough in the pits but, it's all good.

on a positive note, my hat is off to David Vick. He always seems to run a clean race, has a fast car, and respects the other drivers. I don't know him personnaly but his actions on the track show alot of class.

It was advertised, 15 laps or 20 minutes for all support classes. Thats why the mod 4's only ran 4 laps, PSV8 only raced 6 laps. The 20 minute time limit expired. Track did excatly what they advertised. Us real dirt fans had goggles so we didn't have to spend money to look at the inside of our coat.

PS...The dust is always worse on the pit side. I didn't need my goggles on the front side.

You've been going to races how long. Must not go anywhere but your home track. Compared to several tracks I've been to this year, Clarys was in great shape, just needed to have a little water.

Show me where I'm talking $h1t about another track. You are the one complaining. You complained about laps being cut and the dust. I have been to several track that were worse than Clarys this season as far as dust goes, thats all I meant. The races were advertised 15 laps or 20 minutes, I was just re stating a fact that was known before the races began.Whats with all the childish back and forth capital letters??????? type like an adult!

1)Team420 and CPrice07 ya'll get really mad when a fan from another track comes to yours and makes statement and gives opinions don't you? PS: Look around the internet, Im not the only that had something to say about this past weekend at CLR.

2)I'd rather pay $30 to Clarys paying $10,000 for late models than $12 at CLR for that show they had this past weekend.

These were post about the last race at CLR. You were just voicing your opinion, just like i was just voicing my opinion about Clary's.as fars typing,I wIll TyPe HoW EvEr i LikE,eSpEiacLlY iF It BoThErS YoU!!!:12Bang:

Boo freakin hoo! Thats was 5 or 6 weeks ago and it was meant as a sike job to have the #L2 & #07 come race at Clarys. And yes I would rather pay the $30 to see at $10,000 at Clarys or any track than pay whatever to see T&L at CLR. If CLR had a $10,000 SLM show, I'd be there.

I dont think the wind helped with the dust. I thiink it could have used a little water but I had a good time anyway. So if you get a little dust in the eyes... remember you are at a DIRT track. Peace out.

I enjoyed my first visit to Clarys. The racers i met were very welcoming and enjoyable to talk to. I have to thank Rusty Kelly's team we busted the control arms on the car and his crew helped us lift the car onto the trailer and offered us any help we needed. I enjoyed racing with Justin Pinno and Dennis Overby as well as all the others in the class. The track tried to do the best they could on all the calls and the track itself it a blast to drive. We will be back with the right gear next time. I did have a few incidents that were not as enjoyable but thats racing. They did put Overby in the lead when he got into the accident with Pinno and Trevor the 25 broke under pacelaps as the leader and i was second but Dennis would have gotten around me easily, but the track made what they thought was the right call. Our race was hectic enough so I know they did the best they could. I'd like to thank clarys for putting on the race it was an awesome sight to see
