My dog

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that we had to have our chocolate lab put to sleep today. It was very sad. He has been not his normal self for a week now and we took him today and the doctor found out that he had alot of fluid in his stomach and found a mass/tumor that he could not really treat except to give him meds for a few days and I couldn't bear the thought of him suffering here at home, so we made the decision to put him down. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this difficult time and try to get use to our dog not being with us....

Sorry to hear that. They leave a huge void when they are gone. It's been over 5 years since we had to put our dog down, and I still miss him trotting around.

that does suck we lost a dog also not to long ago (mastiff)

I hate to hear about your dog. Just this past weekend I found our freinds black lab dead out in our back yard and had to call and break the news to them.

Thanks to everyone who posted their thoughts and prayers for me. It is like losing a family member and its really a hard decision to make. It's different if you find them dead, but to have to put them to sleep is a totally different ball game. I am sorry for your loss' as well. I will be thinking of you!!!
