So your saying that as a smart comment. Plus you think Dublin is better than Clary's...I dont think so...

iam not gonna mention any names, but the rumor i heard in the pits at fav durning the clash race some teams may drive right past the blue gray and head to clarys. Now I ussually only post what I know for fact, so iam not saying who may or may not show. But there is a one tire company rule at cherookkee i belive, plus its a 2 day show, with heats(more wear on equipment) for less money. So if you are rooting for clarys to do bad I wouldnt get to happy just yet.

Yeah dude, what are you talking about. What is this blue gray crap. Clarys is where its at. I think people are scared of the competion of other cars. The fastest of the fast run at Clarys. If you do not think so, come try to win a race!!!!!!!

Dublinfire don't get too excited. Pleanty of the BADDEST OF THE BAD will be at Clary's on Nov. 12th. So sorry. A few other states are represented other than NC and VA at Clary's. You ever heard of Delaware? I guarantee you those guys don't play and if you want to see fast come on up and check it out. If not you go where you want to go and don't worry about Clary's, got it!

Ricky Dickens
11-04-2005, 10:28 AM
Dublinfire, If you are scared go somewhere else, if you want to race where the competition is come to clary's. I guarantee you clary's is the place for the show.

I'm sure Clarys will have a good car count in SLM on Nov. 12 As a true dirt fan I would love to do both Clarys on Nov 12 and Cherokee on the 13th, but after all the money I spent at Hagerstown last weekend the racing funds are starting to run a little thin. Trying to figure out to stay home this weekend and save money for Clarys or go to Dublin this weekend, then Clarys Nov 12.

Dublin fans are funny to me. You talk to one fan and they say, "Dublin don't get dusty because they got that clay out of the river!" You walk across the parking lot and talk to someone else and they say, "This track gets dusty as he11 because they got the clay out of the river!" Whats up with that?

Redclay Rebel
11-04-2005, 10:34 AM
I know back when Clarys was Champion and they had a big show there Clint Smith was there. Why put down Clarys. I don't see Dublin Motor Speedway having a $10,000 SLM show! Novemeber 12 will make 2 for Clarys this season.

Right now I am thinking about Dublin tomorrow night! Got to balance the check book and see how the $$$$ looks. Dublin is a fast track! I got to many dirt tracks. Been to 10 this season. Dublin to me is the fastest, but I have seen the best action at Clarys. I'll know tonight if I'm going to dublin or just gonna wait for Clarys next weekend.

11-04-2005, 10:46 AM
Dublin doesn't even look like a dirt track! Because they don't use red clay it look like a oval in the middle of a corn field. FMS is dusty, so is WCS! I have been to Clarys over a dozen times this season and it was only dusty once.
I'll agree that Dublin is one fast race track and looks fun to race on, but I have seen some of the best racing at Clarys.

dublinfire
11-04-2005, 10:49 AM
lol u trip me out red dust track record at dms 15 71 damn thats fast oh and yea u dont need red cley to be a real race track and u cant tell me clarys was only dusty once u cant help it with red cley its im posable for it not to get some wut dusty

Dublinfire, why dont you learn how to spell? Everyone has there own perference as to where they want to go see a race. I have been to a lot of dirt tracks this year, and I have yet to see one that does not get dusty!

Redclay Rebel
11-04-2005, 12:23 PM
I have been to Clarys over a dozen times this year and half to agree. Only time it has been dusty was the last race. That is unless you sit near the bottom, then yes but thats all dirt tracks. I have been to Dublin twice this season and it has been dusty both times and I was sitting at the top of the stands.

You are right JH. I have heard of a couple of drivers that may show also. I know there is about 20-25 already coming to Clarys. Where is Dublins 10,000 to win, shoot they can't even get the Clash in there for a 4,000 to win. As far as the 11 car at least he went, not seen any Dublin cars come to Clarys and win.

Lucky13
11-04-2005, 03:46 PM
Oh by the way, you want to see fast? Dublins not so fast after you go to the Big E (Eldora) now that is fast. Clarys also had competition the last race, DTWC at KC Raceway and they still had 44 SLM show up. They will be there next week also. Good luck at the Blue/Gray.

the track needs to be wider it looks likea go kart track

Redclay Rebel
11-04-2005, 04:04 PM
Clarys couldn't get the Clash for one reason, The Clash wouldn't give JC or Marcia the same deal as they gave FMS so Clarys said no thanks. The almost had the OSAS but the series wanted a two day show and WCS didn't want to work a deal for Friday. You sure do alot of taking trach dublinfire, you any kin to the one they call Biscuit?
Didn't the #42 sportsman car from Clarys go down to Dublin near the start of the season and win from the rear???? Think he did!

11-04-2005, 04:04 PM
ok buddy. I'm taking your word for it, don't let me down. I still want to see a 10,00 to win show, when is that going to be scheduled? :DontKnow:

Redclay Rebel

I admit Clarys would be better a little wider, but the size of the track is what makes the racing good. Dublin and Fayetteville the field gets strung out.

Dirtslinger319
11-04-2005, 04:15 PM
Thought i talked alot of junk!!!!! The DublinFire is ignorant to the world of dirt track racing. The only thing you have said I can agree on is that Clarys would be a little better if the made it wider. Lets see the #32 or #0 Sportsman cars at Clarys on the 12th, or the #8 of Travis Hair. Tell them not to just sling it...bring it!

When a SuperStreet car runs in the Sportsman class one expects the SuperStreet car to get out run, and the Flying 11 is a Superstreet car. I think he still finisned about fourth in the Sportsman class, didn't he? (with a SuperStreet car)

Redclay Rebel

I understand! Travis can't run with the big boys and won't come off his porch.
No! Travis is a good driver and I shouldn't let a loud mouth make me say bad things about him. And you say Clarys is ****. How do you pronounce that word ****? Ok you don't like Clarys....we get it....So move along now and go talk on the dublin forum!

the flying11 team came to dublin and we like the track. my son ran p.s. and was on the front row with only 2 races under his belt. that right 2 races. first was july 3rd at clarys which he finish 3. then wayne county on the 5th then we came down to dublin on the 6 and ran 4th and i will add with the wrong gear just turning 5800rpm wher our motors needs 7000rpm. we had fun and we will be back next year with the right gear. my ss car had to run with your sportman cars well i ran 4 or 5 but we had fun.next year we'll had a sportman car also. so clarys is where we will be on the 12th. hope to see a lot of new cars and faces.

I gotta step in on this , If you ever see a moisture density curve ran on red clay you will discover something. Red Clay has a much wider range of optimum moisture to allow the soil to be compacted to its maximum density. Most other soil types do not exhibit this characteristic. It allows you to have the soil wetter than other surfaces with less impact to overall track conditions. wetter track = less dust.

oh and mr ricky bring that pbs **** on down to the coast and let me hand it to ya show u how we do it

Redclay Rebel

$3,000 at Clarys for a regular show! You know it hasn't been that many years ago that $1500 to win was a special event at most tracks. Times sure have changed.

I been to Dublin and raced. Its an ok track but its dusty. Dont have no walls, which someone could get killed. The dirt turns into a sand pit. 'Plus, I think its stupid to listen to someone complain and talk like kids back and forth. Seriously come on people.
