2.50 is high for a hot dog...it should be like 1.50 or 2.00 IMO

The # 21 of Neil Welch won . I think he was in the car I also seen another guy drive it also. Good race. First time Ive been back to Hammer Down since i won the gokart championship a few years back. Alot of improvements since then. I dont understand why their wasnt any mini stocks there that will be a hell of a track for them.

7 one broke in pratice started 6 plus 2 ss cars a lot of passing and some side by side

well i had fun ,they put me with the late models ,wow and i thought i was fast,was just trying to shake the car down and all ,and first lap of practice guess what ? i hit the wall in turn for with a cut tire ,but anyways had fun started the race and made good money also,they paid me $100.00 a lap,to bad i only ran 1 lap and got off track out of late models way,afther the races i had doc take my car out and test it, he had some good things to tell me about it,i will get to work on them ,thanks doc

im trying to have mine finished soon. i will run there a few times if im ready in time. that track is perfect for mini stocks. im going to try and get the word out. i know most mini stock drivers around my way wont pull that far. maybe some guys should try and build some around the fayetteville area. they get $750 to win if there are 15 or more. $250 to win if there is at least 5. i would love to see a pile of them there. i would try and run there often if the class will come out.

racerchaser,this will be my first full year back trying to race dirt, been out of it for over 20 years and things have changed alot ,also workin on car myself doesnt make things much easyier ,just tryin to get the feel of it again and used to the tracks and the way car reactes to different tracks,so you willing to help a guy out?

You are one of a very few select people that really knows when to race and when to watch. Seriously I commend you for what you did by getting the money then getting out of the way, then on top of that have the presents to ask for seasoned help from a veteran driver to help you with some advice on your car.
I only wish more would take that approach.............

i was jealous you let doc wheel that thing around hammerdown. i wanted to.LOL your car sounds like it has a ton of power. what was the deal with it smoking towards the end though?

thanks archie, yes i got to get a few more tires together,15x10-29s and 28s ,and by all means feel free to come over and talk ,tell me things and such, im open hands for all advice ,yea red dust you might get your chance if your there at next race,as far as the smokin ,the breather caps was pullin oil out into header collecters,and some of it was tire smoke from doc running it like it needed to be run ,lolnext race you have my 37 yrs experence there for you i also build a lot of cars anything you need that i can help with just ask what tires do you have ill get you up some for next race no charge im offering help not selling busness
