SECOND ANNUAL NASCAR FANTASY LEAGUE
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am part of a local message board LocalRaceChat.Com that covers dirt and asphalt racing in and around North Carolina. We visit and support local tracks such as County Line Raceway in Elm City, Clary’s Speedway in Brinkleyville (close to Littleton) Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly and Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville. Our member base is currently close to 2,000 with a total viewing in 2007 of 2.9 million!
Last year, we started a NASCAR Fantasy League to members, with the opportunity to compete weekly with the touring series in points. We offered a plaque and monetary prizes to the top 3 finishers. This year, we were hoping to acquire a sponsor for the league, to offer a little more of an incentive. Last year, the winner received $50 cash and a plaque, second place $25 cash and third place received a $15 cash prize. As you will see on the attached list, I have a tiered plan to raise sponsorship for this league this year. In exchange, you will receive a banner advertising your company that will be displayed at various times on the website. If you have a website, a member could click on the banner and be taken directly to your page, thus bringing forth possible business for your company. If you do not have a website, you will have the space to simply advertise your business at no cost.
Please take time to review my proposed tier plan, and get back with me regarding your decision. Our league will open for registration on February 1st, and close on February 15th (the Friday before the Daytona 500). I would really like to have the prize listing in place at that time.
