In the latemodel engine rules your #5 and #8 rules are contridicting there self.Would be nice if you opened your rules up and had engine rules like Rolling Thunder.Might get a few more cars down there:VeryHappy:.What nights do you guys plan on running Friday or Saturday?

We're talking about keeping the current start times like the website currently says and taking a little time of mid summer when the heat is on and then coming back in the evening after that break.... Thanks for the suggestion on the Late model rules and I'll look into it!

maybe hammer down speedway should ask the racers what kind of ruleas they want we had a discussion about the purse last sat nobody complained and we all were happy im sure we all can agree on rules that let everyone race and still be even like rollin thunder and clarys two well established track that host lots of good races where car count is up, fan count is up, i really like that track and the people super nice but with current rules i wont be able to race there ok ok im done all im gonna sat

Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes but as the webmaster and not the actual track organizer and tech. department, I was instructed to find rules that everyone could live with as a temp. basis until we can establish what is fair for everyone and makes sense. I honestly review a local track's rules and posted them on our site to give some sort of structure to lead us off. The owner of the track will honestly not turn away anyone but wants fair competition too, so if you have a suggestion for me to go to and review and possibly modify for our rules to help us out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I know you don't want somebody coming in there with excessive rule bending stuff and taking your money and the overall prize money too.

so please feel free to give constructive criticism either on here or the next tiemyour at the track. The Boss WILL listen!

YES!! We will need your input to establish simple and fair rules... this will go for all classes too.... As for Rules for the next race, Bring what you have and nobody will be sent away but be fair!!! Thanks!

With the rules that Rolling Thunder has the cars are very equall.People with 3 out of the 4 engine to weight combos have won there.Might be worth checking into JMO.BTW did'nt mean to get people to start complaining about your current rules just thought I would offer and opinion that might get car count up.

As of Yesterday there was a huge blow to the crate cars at Dublin.......... They have dropped the weight for the Non-Crate cars, and said that Crates have NO weight rule...........

I dont think you can get a crate car light enough SAFELY to make them competitive.

you can get a tube chassis car down in the 2200s (i was at 2230 at sumter) and add more spoiler to the creates. dublin BECAUSE of the straightaways may pose a problem but at hammer down doesnt have much straightaway.

nope it wasnt, it was alot more than that, and i think that showed exactly my point about creates vs open engines at this track

i know the 16 had a good engine in it you could hear the difference but they run good at rolling thunder but with their own class rolling thunder also runs supers but most are only running small motors

yeah its a good piece, as was zachs, lets not forget that the 604 create engine has aluminum heads too and as the track dried out Mr. Hanson was fast as well

The crate was in the blue 98............The motor in the 33 is 9 to 1 steel head late model stock motor.....

well excuse me i thought chuck told me that ya'll both had crates. i stand corrected. but that still shows the difference in engines. gear and handling is a premium at this track
