OK everyone, I am thinking about having a get together at my house for the Chili Bowl next weekend. If anyone would like to come over just let me know. I live between Garner and Benson on highway 50. If anyone knows somewhere a bar might let us watch it then hook it up and we can go there instead. I am working on that also.

We could hit Shooters, and play some pool and just bs....Or we could do your house and play some cornhole.

Do you think Shooters would put the race on? I was thinking if we do it at my house, we could throw something on the grill and play cornhole. We can start anytime after 12 cause I got to work till 11.

I seriously doubt a bar will cover the HBO Pay-Per-View fee unless we end up having a couple hundred dollars tab...lol, which wouldn't be hard for us to do. It costs $24.95.

Count me in Lucky. Now that I think about it, is it legal for a bar to carry a PPV event like that? In any case, a get together sounds good.

I don't know if its legal or not, but they do it up here all the time.....
#1 "the prelude" was the last one I remember that a lot of bars had up here.
#2 what about all the NFL games this year that are pay per view.

I might be able to go, I need to take my daughter the the Lowe's kid clinic at 10:00am so it may be later when I arrive..

RJ i have to work until 11. You can come over anytime after say 1. RB you can crash here if you need to, no problem.

Lucky thanks, but I was telling my wife last night and she informed me that I already told another friend of ours we would attend his pig picking this weekend. :feedme:
