I would like some more information on this track..........
We may try and load up and go down there............ Dad's car is ready, Chuck's car is ready...... I already sent the Open Wheel for new sheet metal....... If it is ready we will bring that too........ If not we may just bring a 3rd late model if we can get it together.......:surf:

it is a small trsck so if you take a latemodel or OWM you will not have to worry about motor b/c you will not use it all..and you will need a bigger gear than clarys.. the corners may be close to clarys with less banking and not near as wide and the straights are shorter.

It will definetly be interesting did i hear on here that they only have a fence up for walls or do they have guard rails...i mean whats gonna keep a car from going thru the fence and into the crowd...do they have bleachers?

there is one guardrail in front and telephone poles on the outside of the 4ft chainlink fence. i just rode out there and looked, wow there are like 4 sets of bleechers and i dont know where everyone is gonna park. on the good side though the track surface looked really good its just SMALL.

It sounds like they might not be able to keep the micro sprints in the ballpark ... those things can really take off. Not to say that the other cars can't get up in the air, but I've seen micros take off like an airplane at several tracks. I guess I'll have to see for myself what it looks like when I get there tommorrow.

yeh they've been racing micros there for about 14 years or so when i was a kid just starting out in go-karts i actually raced 125cc and 250cc micro sprints there and we never really had a bad wreck i think i saw jimmy mabe flip once out there but other than that the track was real wide so it allowed for alot of 2 and 3 wide racing.

yes they only have a fence no walls and the bleachers they have are no more than 6-7 foot high. there isnt many bleachers at all. and yes parking might be a problem since this is a sprint track and was a gokart track and they are are gonna try and bring in these other classes it will be a tight fit.
