View Full Version : LRC Roll Call for the Blue Gray 100
Who's going to the Blue Gray 100 down at Cherokee this weekend? I *want* to go, but I'm not sure how I'll be able to pull it off.

With a Drivers list like this gonna be hard for me to say no. But Wife isn't gonna be happy if I go and I will not be back in RR until around midnight Sat night and then would need to leave around 6am Sunday morning. Gonna have to think about this one:wings_rollseyes:
Also until he went to AL last weekend Ray Tucker Had this race on his website, so we shall see!!!!

Yep, we seem to be in the same boat. I don't think my wife will be happy if I go either.
OK JH. The weekend draws near... What's it going to be? I've been following a Cherokee forum and the driver list looks pretty amazing. We saw some great action there (probably the most exciting pass I've seen all year coming from Madden) and I bet we'd see more on Sunday.
What about you brickmaker? You've been mighty quiet lately. Let's load up the bus! :insane:

Damn I am glad I don't have that to worry about. All my wife says is which track is it and what state is it in, and if I'm going to stay overnight she goes with me.
I doubt it will be much of an issue for me either in about 20 years!

You are right Newbe cause me or you is gonna have the same wife we have now in 20 years if we keep it up:smiley_595:
 For me, it's not really an "issue" with my wife. She doesn't mind that I like racing and that I've gone nuts with photography equipment. The bottom line is that I'm a father of two young kids. The time I spend at a race track is time spent away from my entire family. My wife and I both work full-time jobs so time is very valuable to us. So the "20 years" comment that I made refers to how long it will be before both kids are out on their own.

John had the same one for 28 years now. I'm getting to old to train a new too.

I have the time nor the patient to train another one :dance_guy:
Well, as of this moment, I'm GOING. It'll be a long day, but worth every penny I'm sure.
Gr8DirtFan: If you see me say hello. I have a buzzcut and will likely have a camera and a black bag on my back.
