ATLANTIC CITY, NJ November 23, 2007 . . . Thousands of people will be filling the Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center for the mid-winter happening in motorsports opening on Friday, January 18th.
The three day show, offering something for just about everyone, will take up close to 300,000 square feet of the huge complex with close to 200 motorsports vehicles on display.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet famous race car drivers and other personalities in the sport. There will be free autograph opportunities. More than 600 exhibitor booths will be open offering everything from race cars to collectibles.
The annual US Tobacco Ms. Motorsports Pageant will be a big attraction along with a long list of free seminars offering information that covers subjects from sponsorship marketing to learning how to set up the race car.
While Motorsports 2008 goes on during the day (January 18-20) there will be two nights of Gambler’s Classic presented by Pepsi Indoor auto racing taking place just a short distance away at the Boardwalk Hall.
Featured in the indoor racing will be the M&R Products Three Quarter Midgets/600CC Micro-Sprints along with Champ Karts. Several well known names in the sport are scheduled to participate in the Friday, January 18th and Saturday, January 19th events.
New this year is the two day Promoter’s Summit that will take place at the A.C. Convention Center and will have event promoters from at least 13 states taking part in a variety of seminars, workshops and social activities all designed to have an impact on the state of the short track auto racing industry.
