Man the track was fast, Steve Blackburn pointed out how close in qualifing the LM were, within a second. It was cold Friday, but cars were flying, man I didn't think O'nell was gonna walk away. Saturday night before the main I have never saw a track more right. Cars were 4 wide for several laps, it was crazy. It may not show up on the results but the locals held there own. IMO they were just out numbered... Jeff Smith B-main was awesome, he got JOB'ed on the first restart, he would of had something for them in the main. Weeks need to remove the target (boneheads hit me here) sign. Blackburn got off the track spinning to avoid, and was rewarded a lap down (bad call). Got home, stayed up late playing it back on Speed.

I had a great time with several LRCers at Lowes. If you haven't met Rocket89 yet, you're missing out.

lol, found the ABC store down the street, had to with my new PA Posse friends you had no choise but to party and have a good time. Don't know much about the Sprint guys we were rooting for (Smitty and the Hammer) but sure was cool when I had these guys yelling for the locals. Section 101 was going nuts!

I had a great time with all the LRC folks. The Late model races were very good. I could care less and hopefully I dont ever have to see another sprint car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I lived in TX, Sprints were all we had. But to be honest I used them to beat traffic by leaving during there SAT final. I don't bash them because any fan of Dirt is still good in my book. I also feel the more these events are mixed, the more people will see and compare. Then they will see you can't beat the 3 wide LM racing.

Hey UCar can put on a show, I'll watch, any racing on dirt.

I agree with the anything on dirt is good or at least betterr than the best on asphalt. But with the sprints I had to sit threw all of the crap to finally on Sat night get to see some decent racing and only with the top two in the feature.

You see three wide racing with the sprints. They're just so damned fast that they don't stay together very long.

I enjoyed the sprints. I would have enjoyed them even more if I knew more about the drivers. Both sprint features had excellent finishes.

yea i like the SLM better but the sprints were not that bad. they were fast ans yes they get strung out whick i dont like but there was a little close racing and it was at the front for the wins both nights

I'm a fan of the local Sat nite driver.

I think its starts at your local race wherever you our. Its funny how you will pull for guys you don't normally pull for when you see them at a national show. I've seen Kinser, Stevie Smith, the Dude, Jac all of them before. But I was with guys from PA that cheer for there locals like we do Jr Pearce or Steve BlackBurn. I was pulling for them. Sure it would have been easy to take Kinser or Bloomquist - but seeing them once or twice a year doesnt cut it for me.

anytime you see a local run you should pull for them. of course i dont think you should pull against anyone either.

When Miller was leading Friday night I was pulling against him. When Elliot was leading I was praying for rain on the Black Sunshine. When Jeff Smith was fighting to make the move up in the B main , I was pullin against both guys in front of him, a caution a cutdown, jump over the cusion any help !
