A couple of months ago I talked to the race promoter and agreed to be there. Then a couple of weeks ago it was announced that the CLR banquet would be that same Saturday. I guess I need to do my first committment. :19mauer:

Thanks, Danny. I did see earlier that Fri got rained out. On Thursday I decided not to go because I've still got sinus problems and standing out in the cold would just about kill me. I guess you'll need to rely on Bubba - I just wish the website would get the "gallery" going ... its been empty for the last 3 years. I'd be nice to be able to see some pics online. Anyway, hope your dad does well. :thumb:

well he was doin pretty good up until the head busted before qualifying, we got the rocket together and i made my debut, i started 3rd in the 4th heat and dad started last (due to missing qualifying) he made it to 5th and had incidental contact with #15 armel from winchester, i fell back to fourth and made my way back to 2nd on the last lap, and finished 2nd in my heat and dad 5th. Kristian was fast as well and threw a rod out in practice ending his day. Hippy broke the track record in qualifying by turning a 17.4 second lap. Tommy Hoy won his heat, and Greg won the dash. so the eastside guys aren't doing to bad, im pretty sure joey leavell made the show as well. so far it hasen't been a bad weekend. were tryin to find a head for dads car to get him down there to run tomorrow in the B-main but its not lookin so good:ThumbsDown:. but i bought a couple pictures and ima try to talk to bubba to get him to send me some and ill try to post pictures of as many cars as i can. hope you get better.

im not sure i ran in the race, i know the 5 car parked near me and i was told it was bonebrake
