The fighting was very uncalled for. Very. Ridiculous to be quite honest. The man was still strapped in his car for crying out loud!

The fight was the most exciting thing all night . The only one passing was the 22 of odom. Everyone thought the TRAIN race was canceled but it won't. Foller the leader all night every race. I'm not saying this to tic any one off or take a shot at the track It's just a fact. Now when I say no passing I'm not talking about the last 3 or 4 car's.

You are correct. The fight did get people off thier feet. but all in all it was a fun night..got a little cool outside too

Good point. That was my first visit to CLR. I've heard rumors and seen old posts here on the forum that indicated fighting was the norm there. It felt like I was back in high school.

i would have been pissed too. but no need in fighting. stuff like that will happen and if you dont want to ever have a flat, stay home.
the thing is the flat happened under the pace laps before the race even started. evrybody will have a flat sooner or later but you dont expect to get them under caution just so your competition can be out front by thereself and the other car at the rear. that is what was really BS imo if the L2 did hit D22 and cut his tire before the race than no matter what the rules are for that track he should have been put back in his position and if not atleast put the other car involved back there to. but if it was intentional the L2 should have been placed to the rear alone and the D22 put back on the pole

If it happened before the race and the track seen him they should have let him go change his tire and get his spot bk.

The fight wasn't necessary at the time it happen and who started it. I have know idea what happened and when it happened on the track. I was to far back. LOL But I was about 20 feet away from the start of the fight and about 30 feet away when it ended. I stepped back leaned on the car and lite a cigarette. LOL

But the guy that first started it came running a long way from behind the scales and jumped in the L2's window and went to punching. I hope he had his helmet on. I am no race car driver, but I do remember one thing from my football days LOL NEVER take your helmet of and don't aim at a guys head when he still has his helmet on. I have never understood that about racers. Why hit I guy in the head with a helmet on? Why take your helmet off? I guess its just the adrenaline and anger. I don't have a problem with fighting sometimes. But why cant it be just the two involved? I would have had no problem and maybe even seen it as acceptable if Donnie and Britches would have gotten away from folks and duked it out one on one. But when its a group mentality innocent folks sometimes get caught up in it.

I also think the staff did the best they could considering how many people were involved. But to be honest and maybe I missed em, but I didn't see any men in uniform anywhere around. Every track has fights. Yes even the prefect Clary's Speedway LOL. Its gonna happen. Its the lets all go get in the middle of it and start swinging that I cant understand.

when i got over there donnie was standing on his car looking. not sure who the guy in the pics with the white helmet and red suit was. may have been donnie and he just got back to his car fast.

It's ridiculous that anyone would try to defend or justify what took place on Saturday night. It's pretty damned stupid to try to fight someone that's sitting inside a car. He was damned near ready to step on the gas to get through the crowd. He actually did move the car around a little. Imagine for a second what would have happened if he snapped and floored it? Lots of innocent people would have been hurt or worse.

The entire episode was flat out stupid.

Turned the wrong way outta the scales to go the pits of the other guy. I did see that the guy in D22 pit was throwing dirt clots at Britches as he went into turn one. If the track doesnt do something about all the fighting, then the car count will continue to drop. And on Donnie's defense, I was right at the window of Britches, Donnie did NOT throw a punch. He was actually confussed looking as to what was happening.

Great point about the kids. On that line, I was just as shocked at the people that were dragging their kids in the direction of the fight!

I can certainly understand the anger and frustration, but there's no justification for what took place there on Saturday night.

All I am goin to add to this is the deputies were not called because of the fight with britches... they were already there due to an incident that already happened earlier in someone else's pit.
