Building a BGM Truck

Dublin Speedway is initiating a new class this season, the 'BGM' truck class. It is intended as an entry level class, but offers a challenging twist: mid size (S-10 Ranger, etc.) type trucks with V-8 engines on 8" tires and wheels. This is a photo-essay of the construction of one of these racers, a '97 S-10 being built in the backyard garage. Presently, no one has actually finished one and no one really knows what to expect. Kind of exciting! It's a good time to get in on the ground floor of a new racing class with lots of potential. Check out the progress:
