I just wanted to say that I think the super street drivers did a heck of job Saturday night ........well SUNDAY MORNING!!!:smellie26::smilie12:


I think "THE RULE", that was implimented and enforced for the Super Street race made a world of difference. I saw drivers backing out of the gas instead of running over the guys in front of them.

It is just a shame that so many people had to leave because of the time, us included, and could not watch what they had come to watch.

Great job guys.

Time wasnt a problem to me. I enjoyed every bit of it.

It was unfortunate that it ran so late.............. I knew it was gonna be late, but I did not think it was gonna be 4:10 am late...... I thought we would have been done by 1 am espically when the pure stock feature was over at 7:15.........

We qualified almost 70 cars 2 laps in about an hour...........I was impressed with that. (Even with the first few cars not being timed on thier first laps)

The time issue was not from lack of action on the track............The track pretty much had cars on it all times.

We just tried to squeeze to much into, a limited time frame. But what class do you dump for the event. Every class supported the track all year.

Next year maybe the track will make an announcement in the first drivers meeting, that the 3 classes with the least support throughout the year will be deleted from the program for the 2nd ANNUAL BRICKYARD NATIONALS! Then it would not be a surprise and it would be up to the drivers to come every week............(JUST A THOUGHT):23mg:

That is about all that needed to be said Chansen.It was real smooth i was surprised to have the 1st race over and cars qualified so quick i thought it was goin to be a early night. Maybe next year it can be a day 2 day event and maybe cut a deal and run the 4 clyds one day and the V8s the next day.

I agree with Walt about the 2 day race or either let the cars qualifie on Friday night. We too missed the race we came to see.

The drivers did a great job. It is more fun to watch racing then just cars pushing around! They put on a good show and I hope they all come back and do it again!

i think the "RULE" made racing a lot better and cleaner NO MIRROR drivin:HSSME: :smiley_593: and no brake checking.....:19mauer:

yea maybe run all heat races and all the 4 cyl and bomber mains on fri and leave SLM,SS,and sportsman races for sat for sat

Alot more people would have gotten to see the big race they came to see. I mean the latemodels was good but i came to see the big SS race

we left just as soon as we could get our pay i caught about the last 15 laps of the ss race it was real good. latemodels were fantastic, mod 4's were great also every class we watched was great. it wont the time that bothered me personally it was that cold weather.lol

I think that is the only thing that messed with alot of people was the cold.

yea b/c IMO as lons as there is good racin going on i could stay out there all night. i just dont like the cold esp when im not dressed for it.

Wasn't cold till the latemodels came out and started flyin around the track.lol But yea i want leave till the last race is done if i can get away with it.
