Hate to see any cars flipped, buts its a terrible feeling when its someone you know. Glad to see him walk away from this.

I was in the tower when this happened and I'm going to tell you the truth, it scared the crap out of me. I'm glad that Kent is ok.

Glad kent is OK. Does anyone know wha happend. All I heard was a loud gasp from the crowd and looked down and Kent was on his roof

believe me these guys get tired,preparing the cars ,leaving to get the track,then sitting for hours waiting to race!!they need to get out of the track at least by 12am.esp the ones that have a 4 -5 hr. drive..so sure some are not alert for racing as well as driving home..they deserve a hole hell of alot of credit, thats a fact..

Same thing that happened to Neal awhile back pretty much. Coming off 4, the track wall sticks out kinda like Darlington does, then right after that, the wall goes up from 1 rail, to 2, then 3, making pretty much a launching ramp off of 4. His rear 1/4 panel caught the wall where it curves out like Neal did and the wall just carried him right up and over. Lynn has it on film. Terrible wreck, and the wall needs to be fixed there before next year. 2 supers have flipped there, Chigger(I think it was) had a nasty wreck there, and not too long ago a sportsman I believe it was all but flipped there getting air time. If anyone wants to see where the curve is, just look in 4 were the fence is laying out bad.

yea i saw the wreck and im glad he is ok. it looked as if he just tagged the wall and it just carried him up and him to flip. i had just talked to one of his crew members the day before (fri) when we went to practice and he was talking about how they had a wreck a few weeks earlier that tore the car up and now this. i hope yall can get it fixed and get it back out there.

Yeah, its a terrible place on the track. Congrats on making the feature Greg, hate you had trouble in the main, but the car looked great all day long. Glad you made it up.

Sorry to hear that Kent fipped it last night. Glad he's okay though. Didn't he take a flip at Clarys a couple of years ago too (2005)?

pretty nasty wreck. as soon as we got to him he was talking. i believe it was chuck smith that also got some air time sat night when he got the wall. glad kent is ok and that no one else hit him.

I think I said my photo of Kent was 2005. It was just to make the point that it wasn't his first flip there - lots of bad luck. Glad he was okay this time.

your photo was from 05 Kevin, but if I recall correctly, Kent did not flip that night, something went wrong and the car, the brakes went out and he went into the turn 3 wall at full speed......that hit with turn 3 was alot harder on Kent than the flip was......
