most if not all of the CLR guys make the trip up to clarys this weekend. help to support local racing. and then of course, id like to see all of the clarys boys come down to clr on the 19th and 20th. now, how many are gonna help make that happen?
It looks like my schedule is open on the 20th. I just might make it to CLR before the season ends!

I think the relationship between CLR and Clary's has worked out real well this year and the two tracks haven't even made an effort to work together. Could you only imagine the benefits for both if they did?
What each track has done and I will take some of this credit myself. LOL Marcia, Myself, Wesley, James and Doug & Dwayne have not bashed the hell out of each other on here this year. I think that cordial attitude and approach taken by those mentioned for the most part has lead to the drivers and fans of both tracks following suit. Sometimes it is easy to try and bash a competitor to serve your own gain. I think the awards that were put up by both tracks on the others off nights, as well as not posting info in the others section on weeks that the other was racing was a huge step in the right direction and hopefully could lead to bigger things down the road. I have only had one chance to make it to CLR this year and I had a great time. There were some heated post that week about some Clary's cars running down there. When I got there Myself and James had a nice talk about all of it and he understood it was all about me trying to help some of my boys out. I would have expected for him to do the same.
As I said before it has been a great relationship this year, without even trying. I am all for meeting and trying to set some things up for next year.
I look forward to having a ton of you guys up here this weekend. That's drivers and fans. Don't forget the Message Board Social from 1-4PM

what about a County Line Clarys Clash? have one about middle way of the year at one track and then have another at the end of the year at the other.

how bout one switch to friday night and have a 2 track championship with bonus money if you can pick up the points championship at both tracks?

that would cost more for drivers. keep racing cost to a minimum

nobody said you had to compete at both. some guys do have a little money and would be willing to travel both nights to get the points at both tracks. im sure you would pull a couple from each track. and a couple is more than none right?

I don't think either need to race on Friday unless they choose and one of em ain't gonna race on two many Fridays a year. I think a couple of one off events would work, but I also that that total could be raised to about four and have some kind of points for the series. Each year Winchester Va and Hagerstown MD have a shootout. consists of 4 races. First weekend they race at Hagerstown on Friday and Winchester on Sat. Then they flip flop nights a couple of months later and crown a shootout champion in every class.

right but did you have to race both nights? who twisted your arm? LOL i know i know. it is addictive, but still. i would probably not be able to do it each and every week but im sure i could get the money every now and then to race both nights. that helps the car counts at both tracks

How Bout Running A Series For All Classes At Both Tracks Swithing Dates Around And A Nice Points Fund If Any Drivers Are Interested. Or If No Drivers Will Do, Ask Latemodel Drivers Get Together Before Season Starts And Get Some Super Latemodel Rules Or Regular Latemodel Rules Together Or Just Come Up With Something To Work . If It Would Work It Will Be Cool. Jimmy Batten

would also be nice to see fans go to both tracks. only 35 minutes from CLR to Clarys. absolutely no reason that the tracks cant do something like this. get some sponsors to up the purse those weekends as well.
