Trying not to be overbearing with this. But I love this tinypic deal. Makes it so easy to upload pics on here. Also I am very proud of Matt (Raytuckerfan#1) not because he is the greatest player in the world, even though he is pretty darn good. But he gives a 110% every play every game no matter what the score is. That's all any coach or especially parent can ask for. He is only thirteen and thanks he is grown and sometimes I expect him to play like hes a grown man. But the last two weeks when he has been barely able to walk off the field, the pride I have felt watching him come towards me is more than enough to bring this 6ft 230 pd mean ass man to almost tears. Just thinking you know, he really does get it. He gives everything he has and has one hell of a competitive streak. Gotta love it!! Makes all his and my sweat and hard work pay off. AM beginning to realize he is gonna be OK in this life.
I hope I haven't bored anyone. I have coached and officiated sports or played sports my whole life. I cant stand the stereotypical parents who all they talk about is my child did this and that and they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I try and sometimes go to far out of the way for Me or Matt to stay humble and not arrogant about his success. My friends should realize how hard that is for me to bite my tongue. But just once I needed to get this off my chest and put it one words and let others know how great I think my son is. Thank you to all my LRC family for letting me indulged.
Now if I ever decide to let him have his computer back LOL Hopefully he will get a chance to read this.

Actually Walt I forget something. His grades almost hit rock bottom the second semester last year and he almost wasn't eligible to play sports this year. After many weeks of him beating the books and me beating something else:laying20laughing:, he did just good enough. Well he learned a lesson and saw how close he was to almost losing something he loves. So the light bulb went off and if report cards came out today he would be on the A-B Honor Roll:wow_NBS:

JH, it was nice to see you post a postive thread about your son. It was heartfelt and nice to see that. I hope Matt gets a chance to read it. To many times you pick up a newspaper or turn on the news and you see or read all the horrible things a parent has done to their child, then you read things such as you posted and it means alot. Matt is lucky to have such a caring parent as yourself. I dont know how he deals with you, but.....

Thank you. Yeah he has it tuff. But in the end I think he will be better off for it. Hell if he can learn to deal with me, he can handle anything lol

I"m sure you arent as bad as you put on to be. He is lucky to have a father that is so involved in his sports and life. Some kids get "turned out" and their parents havent a clue where they are or what they are doing then when the po po brings them home they want to act all innocent. Just keep up the good work there JH with your son and at the end, you will see what hard work and dedication got ya!

John, from the first time I met Matt I knew he was a good kid......You and Lisa have done a fine job of raising him and it shows in the things he does and the way he carries himself.....Matt is a very respectful young man, he is polite and well rounded......I know at times it may seem you are being hard on him but he will benefit greatly from it in the long run and I know he will be ok in this life due to the fact he will have the morals, values and ethics installed in him in his youth.......Make sure you tell him I said Congrats on the win and that I am VERY PROUD of him also......

Have fun John, one of theses days and it will not be long he'll be taking care of you, seriously we all get old, some not as much as others. Matt will only be what he is one day at a time so have as much fun as both of you can have together.
