I'm not all that technically inclined, so I'm not sure what difference motor set back makes as far as competitiveness. Can someone tell me why its an advantage, or why its no advantage to have it set back. If it is of any advantage at all, what can be done to "equalize" the advantage. I'd really like to see Buddy Sr and Jr come down (and drag along the undertaker with them!).

It can possible give you more rear bite in the car. ( if so i can not see why a weight rule can not be placed on it.) don't quote me on that do.lol

yea moving the motor back gets the weight off the front of the car which is where you dont want it and put the weight more on the back of the car which helps rear percentages (weight), you want the back heavier than the front and this techinque helps out in this process. so some kind of weight penalty that would enforce them putting the weight in front of the motor should level it out
