Annual Awards Banquet Info

Whats going on for this year? Havent heard anything! Just wondering for tickets, price, and whatever else is going on?

Actually I was going to make the announcement Monday.. but since you asked:

Bureau County Speedway Banquet tickets will go on sale Tuesday October 2, 2007.

The banquet is Saturday November 3, 2007 at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in The Allen Building.

Menu:
Hot roast beef
Hot turkey
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Green beans
Corn
Bread/rolls
Butter
Salad and dressings
Mac. salad
Coffee
Iced tea
Lemonade

As in the past the Bureau County Speedway Board of Directors will be providing the desserts and appetizers,
but we ask that anyone who can and is willing to bring either, please do so and please let us know in advance if at all possible.

The banquet tickets cost $12.50 each.
As our banquet is to honor our drivers, and show our appreciation to them, DRVIERS of Bureau County Speedway's ticket cost is $6.00.

The ticket covers your meal and non alcoholic drinks available. Beer will be available to purchase.

Tickets will be available from any board member. (except Jamie, unless you want to chase him around a field as he is harvesting)

Anyone who wants to help out in any way, please contact a board member or come to a meeting
(meetings are in the Prouty Building, downstairs; 7pm on Tuesday nights)

The awards are as follows:

The top ten in each class.
Rookie of the year.
Hard luck driver.
Fan favorite.
Sportsman of the year
Best appearing car in each class.

Please note:

Our food ordering count is based on prepaid tickets as well as tickets that have been reserved/on hold at the door.

Due to this, anyone without a prepaid or reserved/on hold ticket will not be admitted to the dinner portion of the banquet.

We will not be selling tickets at the door until after the dinner portion of the banquet. Once the dinner portion is over, we will be selling tickets at the door for $6.00

We wouldnt want to run out of food before everyone who bought a full ticket gets to eat.
