Special Announcement

I would like to inform all of RTR fans & drivers that I won't be returning this week as the RTR Announcer.
It's been a real HARD decision to give up this job. Gary & Alesia Nester are the BEST to work for. I couldn't ask for a NICER group of people to work for at RTR either. I THANK ALL OF YOU!!! Also, I want to thank Wayne Spangler, Gary & Alesia for giving me the opportunity to join the team. You fans in VA & NC are AWESOME!!!!

The reason for me leaving is I work a reg. job along with my decal business here at home and I announce at THE NEW 311 SPEEDWAY on Saturday nights. So you can see I have
my hands FULL. I didn't think it would be so hard when I took the job. But it is. I really need to slow down alot. I will be visiting from time to time and I will still promote RTR at THE NEW 311 SPEEDWAY on Sat. nights. It's a GREAT place to go spend a FRIDAY night with your family to see a race.

I think Wayne said Jody Adkins would be taking my place starting this week. I may have that name wrong. SORRY..
If I see you there in the future don't hesitate to speak. Also come see me at 311 Speedway on Saturday nights.

We wish you the very best. We've enjoyed your announcing at Oak Level and Ararat (RTR). It's nice that you always familiarized yourself with the drivers and sponsors and shared that information with all the fans. I played one of the old Oak Level videos for my coworkers one day and they all asked where you were from--they thought YOU had an accent! They really enjoyed the excitement in your voice as you truly are a race fan in addtion to being an announcer.
