I have been sitting around the last two days thinking about mostly negtive thoughts about sat night like most people. I even got called out on 4m because of the postive posts I had on there trying to get this race some extra attention. Even a loyal clarys fan told me today " I dont care if they bring back dale earnheart sr himself and admisson was free he wouldnt be back". But this evening I got to thinking you know I got a chance to see 43 super late models right in my own back yard, watch the races with friends and family who wont travel all over the east coast to see a big race like I do. How bout seeing randlee chupp, ricky weeks, billy hicks, booper, chuck harper, jeff smith, david smith( me and my son got to spend about 30 mins to a hour off and on talking with him friday night, what a great down to earth guy, do you people even know he was one of the orignal craftsman truck drivers) all the guys up north great easy going folks, was impressed with the 4 car of richard whaley. i know iam leaving some guys out. How bout ricky weeks not even able to make the show on time WOW. How bout our guys ray tucker and kent wright with strong runs. Got to give a ataboy to carl powell for staying clean and not having trouble and finshing in the top ten. what bout everyone saying a slm couldnt win unless they were running american racers, dont belive thats what booper had on. what about that the field was so strong that the track record holder (rushing) went to the back and couldnt get back to the front. how about all the support classes, the car counts were awsome. Did everyone see the pits? what a great site they were overflowing. So as everyone can see maybe instead of worring about a little bump coming out of 4 or about what time the races ended, if you sit back and look honstly what a hell of a show we got to see sat night.
