Maryville, TN – Mountain Raceway Park in Maryville, Tennessee will host a special night of racing on Friday, September 14.
The highlight of the evening will be a $1,500 to win race for the crate engine late models. Hoosier, American Racer, and Goodyear tires that are used by the three major crate series (Fastrak, StormPay.com, Top Tracks Challenge) may be used for this race. Tires must have name and number on the sidewall, grinding off name and number will not be allowed. There is a $25 entry fee for each car.
Also taking place will be the final points race for the Mountain Raceway super late models. Bobby Giffin of Maryville holds a 20-point lead over Dusty Carver of Inglewood. Racing will also take place in the sportsman division and a $400 to win street stock race.
Grandstand gates and pit gates will open at 3:00. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:00.
Mountain Raceway Park is located 8 miles south of Maryville. Take U.S. Highway 411 South and turn left onto Brick Mill Road (BP station is at the intersection).
