I'd have to say Madden. He beat Bloomer and the rest of the Bloomer chassis cars at the recent Scorcher 100. He also lead the World last year before losing a tire.

Now that I picked him, someone else is sure to win! :smile:

Well it will not be someone who is balls to the wall in the first half of the race. Last year thats what Madden and Van Wormer were. Slow and steady will win.

Thats why I picked Van Wormer or Babb. If Van Wormer dont win, I know he will win the best looking car and crew award. He always has a wicked scheme on his cars.

I'm curious- he lost his left rear last year. Is that a common side-effect from pushing too hard early in the race? Is it correct that the right rear takes most of the beating on these cars? Just trying to understand...

that is the way i always understood it. maybe the set up had to much weight on the left side? dont know about setups so i couldnt really tell you.

I dont know about setups either really. Last year the show was Jeep, he was sparkin and arkin. He actually bounced off the wall in four a few times. Then came Earl on the bottom. The last 15 laps NOBODY was in their seats. The top 6 or 8 were slicing and dicing for the lead. Best race I have ever seen. Its going to be tough to beat.

He lost the tire on lap 27 and if you look closely, coming out of turn four Babb could have made contact with his left rear. It's hard for me to tell. Thanks for the feedback.

Im not looking at a calender but I think it is Sept 5th and 6th next year. Its always the weekend after Labor day. Another good one is the Dream, at the same place. I think its in June. Went to it 2 yrs ago. Not as packed.

It's obvious that Bloomquist will pick up a large number of votes in polls like this. Pearson is pretty popular too. Picking a winner is pretty much a crap shoot anyway.

Believe it or not some of these guys have a new paint scheme
for the World every year. Jeep Van Wormer usually has the best though. His is never really seen until they unload. :secret:

One Of The Best Races Ive Ever Watched Dust Wasnt A Prob Even For A Day Race First Part Of Day Was Dusty But Then Didnt Even Need Goggles I Sat Rite Before Turn 1 And Had A Great Seat And Time There Finally Got Home Last Night About 230 But It Was Worth It
