Hey Doc,
Crowd and car count were both good. Around 10 LM the 21 of Welch wasn't there, I'm guessing he will be at 311 tonight. And Poohbear said he didn't have time to get his car ready. Robert drove a heck of a race, pole man too. Johnny Stovall was there watching and said he would have his car at RTR next week.
Good crate race, the 33 and 5 just got together on the last lap, a true racing deal, and got hung together. Giving Joel Bray a well deserved win after the clean driving second place he got last week.

Someone told me that Steve Brodie got protested and they wouldn't pull his motor down. Anybody know of any truth to that????

Absolutely no truth to that rumor! At RTR if the money comes up, the motor comes down. Several cars have been DQed for various reasons this year so far, RTR tech. man is doing a great job.

Trust me dude, if Robbie wants to protest ya, the funds are ALWAYS there. He had no problem protesting Matthew Warden, or Randy Phipott, several weeks in a row at 311 for several years. He's got the funds, he just likes to mess with ya head. So, when you least expect it, that is when he'll do it. Have fun with that one.

Also, just wondering, is this the same Kevin Smith that used to race Mini-Stock up at Natural Bridge back in the late '90's, used to work for a grading company?? If so, I'd like to talk to him some time, got a question to ask him about a car. Thanks

well when HE GETS TO come back maybe he will be ready b/c we have no problems with him or ANYBODY wanting to see what we have!!! We would love for everybody to see what we got. He's not messing with our heads, I believe we got him fooled now, cuz hes the one running second. We know Randy real well we ran with him all through the 90's at oak level. Kevin used to run at natural bridge but I dont think he worked for a grading company, he's owns a roofing business.

I will say, ya'll have looked good at RTR, and at the Oak when I saw ya'll last year. I wasn't sure where Kevin worked, he came by my mom's many years ago in a dump truck when I had swapped cars with him, was just wondering if that was the same guy. Good luck to ya up at RTR, and if I'm up there anytime soon, I'll stop by.
