Do you need any directions to the plant, or do you know where it is?

we are making some special gifts for each of the Super Late Model teams that come - - we need to know by wednesday morning which NBSLM will be here. you can call the plant at 252.451.7813

those that come will be eligable for the "Super Show Sweapstake" $ 1,000.00 bounty.

NBSLM teams should be unloaded at the plant by 10:00 friday morning.

the employees and supervisors will also be voting on a special award. want to know what it is?

charlie - you don't need to bring anything unless you have a SLM hidden somewhere....

thanks

I think all of this should of been done on saturday,we have alot of guys that come from the greenboro area and this mean they would have to take friday off work and then stay down here friday night. We'll have Johnny's back this week-end hopefully and there no way we can make it there.Have to work

The main event is for Nash Brick Employee Day which has been held on this day for the last 10 years. They are incorporating the SLM's from Clary's this year. But the main purpose for this weekend is a celebration for their employees.

Hopefully we will have a good turn out and support from Clary's Speedway to show our appreciation for all Nash Brick has done for us this year. But Clary's and Nash Brick both understand that everyone may not be able to attend.

I'm not saying that they haven't done a great thing for clary's and because they have really step up to the base and done a great job. But,the guys that travel to get to clary's i'm sure it would be hard for them to be there to have a chance to win the extra 1000

Kelly, we completely understand your point.
It is a burden for the NBSLM teams to show up for our Employee Appreciation Day on Friday – we recognize that.

For us, this day is all about celebrating our employees and the very hard work they have done for the past year. Since we are honoring our laborers, we traditionally hold this event on the Friday before Labor Day, so that they can have a paid 3 ½ day weekend. Since this is our 10th Annual Employee Appreciation Day we wanted to something extra special for the employees – we kicked around several ideas and settled on 2. We are having an equipment rodeo and since we have so many race fans, we asked if we could combine something from the track. Because we are already involved with the SLM, it only made since that we would do something that involved them and asked if we could get some of those cars here for the event.

We discussed several options for the cars that showed up, such as paying the entry fee, the bounty, paying a set amount for each car and many other options. We settled on the bounty and special gifts for the cars that show up AND making the race a $200 to start for ALL NBSLM cars – whether they show or not. We thought this would be the best way to handle this for everybody – everybody that comes will get something and those that don’t will get a little something also. That is as fair as we know how to be…

Currently, we have 10 confirmed (waiting on final word from 3 more) NBSLM cars attending the Employee Day “Car Show.” Many of these cars/crews are taking the day off work and traveling great distances - - including the Greensboro area. Two of the cars coming will not even be able to make it to the race Saturday! We do appreciate the sacrifice these teams are making to make this day more special for our employees!

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding on this subject.

Our employees are looking forward to a GREAT night of racing in all divisions Saturday night when we continue our weekend celebration with the Nash Brick Employee Night Super Show!
