$430 was collected in the stands last night for Jeff Fain....
also 2 of the drivers that won their class donated the winnings to JF also...
very nice to see people who don't even know him take money out of their pockets and give...
FMR is a great place to be & hope the boy gets well..

jeff is doing a little better. they put him in a comma to put him in the burn tank. he opened his eyes yesterday and he can wink his eyes to tell u that he hears u. his lungs are still swollen but they are going to take him off the breathing machine as soon as the swelling goes down. it's going to be a long recovery time but i think he'll be better and back to racing before we know it. thank everyone for all the donations and prayers.

Has anyone heard any updates on how Jeff is doing ??? I heard on 99.9 fm this morning that they had no smoke detectors and if they had they would have gotten out alot less injuries if any.........PLEASE IF ANYONE WHO READS THIS DOES NOT HAVE SMOKE DETECTORS PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE AS MANY OF THEM HAVE THEM AVAILABLE FOR FREE !!!!!

#1 cause of house fires is faulty grounds. #1 appliance is the toaster.
Do yourself a favor. Have a extra 8 foot copper or 10 ft steel rod installed and tied into your existing ground, And unplug your toaster!!!!

the cause of the fire was faulty wires. the breaker had been kicking a lot and they told the landlord but he didn't fix it. jeff goes for skin graph surgery today. he is off of the breathing machine and he can talk now. he said he's ready to get out of the hospital and go work on his race car.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family!! I think it was a great thing that the drivers did on Saturday night donating their winnings to the family. Not sure how many of them did but I know the guy in the pure stocks also donated his points winnings!!!! Hopefully someone will keep us updated.
