The few mini-stock rules that are posted on the FMR website ARE the rules for the mini-stock race.

Micah Mcswain listed a link to a lot of rules in which FMR cannot enforce.

It needs to be made clear that the FMR rules are what will be enforced and that the $50.00 entry fee for the mini-stock race, is in addition to the $20.00 pit admission, all other classes only pay the pit admission price..
U-Cars, Pure Stock, Super Street, Crate Late Model, and All Americans..

Well this to me just sounds like another attempt to undermine someone who is trying to make something positive happen......Does this mean when this series goes to another track for the other 2 races they will have to race by FMR's rules???? I have NEVER seen a touring group of any type go by the tracks rules they are racing at (ie:ASA Modifieds,UARA Series,Performance Pro Challenge Series all race by their individual rules and NOT the tracks they are racing at) If French agreed to allow the SIMS series to run at his track they should run by SIMS rules...... and if not why didn't French promote his own mini stock race......Micah has put alot of effort into promoting this race not only for this particular track but the 2nd SIMS race at RTR and the 3 track it was going to run at......I'm glad i'm just a fan and not a driver who had prepared his racecar over the past several weeks to the SIMS rules only to find out 72 hours before the race that those rules were void......why wasn't this said over a month ago when French agreed to have the SIMS race ??? I have always seen things from a fans view why no one goes to FMR this year......and if he has treated his drivers like this all year I guess I can understand from a drivers view too now........Good Luck Mini Stock drivers on whatever happens !!!!! As of this morning I have paper here wrote down from French Grimes. And everything I have put down in what was written to me to post on race chat today as far as the rules Mini Stock rules applyed enforce by the track and cars that do not race at Fork Mountain Raceway could use S.I.M.S. rules that would be enforce by S.I.M.S. only.
Main rules are wieght of car equals to cc's of the engines.
That why I was told to post all sealed engines by the track is not to be protested. Other engine that was not sealed and teched may be subject to track protest at end of the event. This was simple Mr. french and I talked it over this morning and got it in writting by French Grimes.

subject Mini-Stock Rules

Dwayne,

I talked to French a little bit ago, and he wanted to see if you could put on the forums that the few mini-stock rules that are posted on the FMR website ARE the rules for the mini-stock race. I think Micah Mcswain listed a link on there to a lot of rules that he made up in which FMR cannot enforce. It needs to be made clear that the FMR rules are what will be enforced and that the $50.00 entry fee for the mini-stock race, is in addition to the $20.00 pit admission, all other classes only pay the pit admission price.. Ok now all Mini stock car that going to race at Fork Mountain Raceway goes by track rules that is posted for this weekend. Sorry for mix-up to my understanding my mistake. Mini stock uses track rules and NOT S.I.M.S. rules due. Again sorry for mistake on my part, so come and support this race this coming weekend will be looking forward to seeing you all there.
Thanks
Micah McSwain
