So is that 50.00 plus pit admission to enter this ministock race???? Sounds like if a man had 4 or 5 crew members it could get exspensive to race in this race ???

Yeah, and all he wants is his Virginia Sprint Series up there, thats the only time he wants to race. he said that the track is for sale, but he's going to race it, the way he wants until a new owner comes along. I hope someone else gets it. I on't see how the racers and fans go over there and watch that. He's having a Powder- Puff in the ucars this Sat. night.

hey, what's wrong with having a powder puff race? french will race the late models if they come, he just can't afford to pay the big purse that they want right now. at least u don't have to worry about track conditions. he spends time working in the track and tries to make sure there are no holes and rocks. and by the way, no sprint cars are supposed to be racing august 25th. why not bring your cars and try the track out, u might like it.

Would he pay much for the late models? I don't think he will, just my opinion, on tv, he said he wouldn't have the late models, there is nothing wrong with having a powder puff race, i was just letting yall know about it. Ya, the sprints aren't suppose to be over here. He wanted us to race over there, and he said we have to put mufflers on ,so we said No, we're going to 311, it's better than Fork Mtn.

Dude you bash 311 all the time and now this track. Sounds like to me you don't want to race by any rules. Do you really think people are gonna cater to those ole timey cars anyway?

I'm a girl and Sorry, didn't mean it like that. My dad has raced at the old oak Level raceway, sense it first opened. We love this track, just don't like how the man is doing it, but have no problem with it. We just want to race somewhere like anyone else likes to. Sorry, what ever you thinked wrong.

Ok guys i have been working a one race deal for mini stock class for an special event to get a good purse $50 dollars entry fee for help purse of 15 cars 500 to win or more cars more the purse. Lowes motor speedway entry was 100 dollars and 500 to win with over 30 cars last year. Just one special race of a decent purse most of his mini stock races to win was $80.00 dollars i think $500 dollars is more then what most track pay anyhow.
Quit the fuss and race this is a one race deal. Come and support the race ok. Sent out the news and have a big show and have fun for a decent purse.

Sorry forgot to say $50 entry fee for mini stock class of each car not crew members. Hope this clears up. Crew members, owners and drivers pay normal pit pass. Thanks.

People keep saying that this is a no rule race well there actually there is several rules. This is one of the S.I.M.S. race so you must go by there rules and not no rules. If anybody dont know the rules for the race saturday go to www.freewebs.com/simspro4 (http://www.freewebs.com/simspro4) and go to the rules section.

What have the races paid to win this year anyway ? I know some tracks make it public what each division pays, seems like keeping it private would either keep alot of drivers away because of the unknown or make them really mad if they show up and it's was hardly nothing.......I have never been able to find this info on the FMR website.

I guess that's because French doesn't guarantee a posted purse, unlike some other local tracks. He bases his payouts on car counts. Few cars little purse, alot of cars big purse. Personally I don't know of any other track that does this. but that's the way it works @ FMR. And yes I would hesitate on taking a chance on pulling a racecar to the track and not really have a clue about what you could expect the payout was going to be...jmo

Hey,
I don't like the way payout is either because what if you haul your car up there and there isn't but 5 cars show up so the purse isn't but $50 in most cases unless you live next door to the track then you wasted your time and money because it will cost you more then that to get the and then time you pay for your car and pit passes for your crew your have spent more money than payout so if you think about it you could be going all the way just to put on a show FOR FMR at your cost!!! I think there should be a min. purse for every division and if there is more cars than up the purse!:blue18:
